I love this studio because it isn’t pretentious. The teachers are warm and welcoming and it’s been a safe space for me to get out of my comfort zone and start moving :
I liked going to this studio! But one suggestion-I wish John didn’t touch people or at least me without asking in his Yin class. It felt somewhat and awkward saying no in such a small, yet quiet space. The adjustments also didn't make sense for why and where he touched me. I feel like consent cards would be great addition for classes.
I have been coming here for about 2 months now. I practice early in the morning. 6am classes and 8am on weekends: And sometimes I can’t get enough of that feeling yoga gives me and I practice in the evening as well. No matter which class I take, I ALWAYS leave feeling great. This is my favourite yoga studio. It’s because of all the amazing teachers. Every teacher is special and unique in their own way. My very first power yoga class in April was with Mike, I was amazed at how great the class flowed and I was so excited to come back the next morning, then Tuesday I took Rosslyn’s class, I love her personality and how clear she is with direction, I think deep flow classes with Monica are my favourite, she is someone who really motivates me and pushes me to my edge and if it wasn’t for her, I wouldn’t be practicing headstands: My first one was with her assisting me!!! Trish’s classes are awesome too, her playlists and flows just resonate with me and I feel like this is where I’m meant to be. Susan’s classes are full of good authentic vibes and always a great experience. Now I know how to practice my dancers pose with a strap: I ALWAYS feel amazing after taking Sharon's classes. Love her teaching style, she teaches from the heart, her flows, choice of music, mantras. I love it when she sings. So beautiful, I cry sometimes because my heart just opens. Sometimes she's the first one that makes me smile or giggle in the day when life seems so hard. After each class am filled with so much gratitude because her classes are a gift from the universe. This studio is awesome. Everyone is great.
The place is great and so are the people but I wish there were consistent verbal cuesdirecting you on how your body and it's parts should be in that pose. I have found 1 teacher that does it a few times in class but most the time we are instructed to do the pose and once in the beginning of class they said to look around the room if you are unsure of any poses. Perhaps this is a more advanced studio, in that case I apologize for the 3 star but I see a lot of beginners in there and people can hurt themselves and their posture without direction on what to focus on when doing the pose.
I love this place. Been practicing yoga for almost 15 years, been to many studios and by far PYC is my favourite. This place seems to attract a certain breed of people that crave more intensity in their practice!! The instructors are knowledgeable and caring! Shout out to Jenna! She is very technical and I appreciate that level of anatomical commentary. Sharon is wonderful, hilarious and also knows what she’s doing! Mike will kick your rear-end in class so prepare In advance, but also you will laugh! I appreciate the serious and technical approach that John has. I really have no negatives! :
This place deletes their bad reviews be warned. Member for 5+ years. The owners are quite rude & entitled. They are over filling a lot of their classes while removing effort on their part. They used to have someone come around and assist, and they no longer do. Over booked, egregious pricing, RUDE. The Guelph location is lovely though

Just started coming here about 2 months. I love the fact that they have student pricing as It allows for me to afford this additionally to my gym membership. I thought I would do yoga/pilates as my rest days from lifting, and wow it was way more of a challenge than i thought. The instructors are wonderful, space is clean, and its quite a great community. Marla's energy is unmatched for pilates though. As a student of osteopathy I love to see people of all ages in the practice- it really motivates me to see so many people taking care of their well-being and mobility, seeing people 3x older than me move better than me in my early 20's is inspiring. Lots of classes so I always find a day to get myself in 2-3x a week. Wish I had started going here way earlier! The fact that they offer add-on workshops is also so cool- I would love to see an in person breath-work class or an osteopathic inspired yoga in the future
I’ve been coming to this yoga studio for more than 10 years after trying many other studios. John and Susan owners truly make the difference creating an amazing space for people to come together as a community to learn, elevate, and enjoy their yoga practice. Great energy, great people, great teachers, friendly staff. Whether you’re experienced or new to yoga, give the studio a try. I’m certainly grateful I did all those years ago!!!
John took pictures of me in yoga positions with his phone claiming to need them for a write up he was sending to me. After two months and two follow ups, no write up have been sent to me! And he still has the photos…..all very creepy!
