Been coming here about 3 times a week for the past 2 years. Great studio. Excellent range of Bikram teachers with different styles. Find it much more fun & effective exercise than the gym or outdoor running I was doing before. Never had any of the problems that some reviewers mention. Get yourself a 20-day intro ticket for £40 and try it for yourself!
Bikram Yoga London Bridge and its twin in Canary Wharf have made a tremendous difference in my life. The instructors are incredibly knowledgeable and passionate and it’s a beautiful community dedicated to the transformative and healing power of the original hot yoga. I feel so blessed to be a part of it and only regret that I didn’t discover it sooner.
Attended a two hour Handstand Workshop by @judit.circus, loved all the drills and how the workshop was structured. Lovely studio, very attentive teacher and such a nice group of people. Loved the heat - looking forward to Judit's next handstand workshop and hopefully flexibility class.
Bikram yoga is challenging but so rewarding! I’ve been at classes with Conleth, Bridget-Ann, Divya and many more - all the instructors are excellent. It’s worth looking out for offers especially the intro offer - sign up to their mailing list. Go check it out!
Conleth was my Teacher for my first class of Bikram at London Bridge . As an ex performer I have been suffering with a chronic injury / weakness with pain . I haven't performed in years nor have had the confidence to do any workout class . After this class however , I woke up the next day with no pain which I have been suffering with for years . I felt very aligned and will continue to go and see improvements . Conleth is such an inspiring and encouraging teacher and made me feel at ease and made me feel brave enough to continue the class . The class was also very friendly and facilities were superb. . 5 stars from me x
* Responding to owners… Your accusation that I was “expelled for being aggressive, unreasonable and confrontational” is an outright LIE and amounts to SLANDER. If this was actually the case, then I invite you to post any evidence of my “expulsion” Spoiler alert: there won’t be any, as this is completely untrue. This is a vicious attempt at trying to discredit my review with an entirely false statement, SHAME ON YOU. Why don’t you actually address the issues I raised and take responsibility for your inadequacies? Your actions here speak volumes about your integrity as a business and as individuals. DO BETTER. Firstly, I’ll start by saying I originally joined this studio 12yrs ago when it was owned by Olga. The studio, classes and teachers were exceptional. After spending 8yrs overseas, I returned to my once, much loved studio. Whilst I knew it was under new management, I had hoped that the high standard would be maintained. Sadly this was not the case. I had to complain several times due to the lack of cleanliness of the studio and also due to the unacceptable timing keeping of one of their more “popular” teachers, who insisted on delaying the entire class to accommodate latecomers/new students. With the exception of Antonia, Sangeeta and BA, the teaching methods and standards are incredibly poor and do not follow the traditional teachings of bikram yoga. In addition, the heating and humidity levels at LB is incredibly temperamental. To top off the above, they also increased prices halfway through my membership! To add to this already diabolical experience, I recently discovered that I was pregnant and due to health conditions and a high risk pregnancy, my doctor advised that I cease practicing hot yoga immediately and only undertake minimal exercise. I had requested an early termination given my change in circumstances, and given that their T&Cs state to contact them directly, mentioning pregnancy as a reason. Unfortunately, the studio simply offered to credit my account for the following year for just 2 months, even though I would have paid for 3 months. When I contested this, I was appalled and disgusted at their response. For a studio who apparently prides itself on being a “community” and a “family”, I was told there was “no entitlement to be compensated” and that “pregnancy is not one the reasons we consider for leaving a contract early” if that’s the case, why state this on your website??? It’s very clear that they don’t value their students, per Jelena’s email: “Any gym or studio would hold the member accountable for the full minimum term. It is common practice in the fitness sector.” If this is the case, they should stop with all the rubbish that is posted on social media about being a community and treating members differently. This is absolutely not the case, they put making money above anything else. They don’t care about existing students, their only priority is bringing in new customers. Finally, I did not appreciate Jelena’s comment: “Perhaps you could do some classes at home, which will help prepare you for delivery and allow you to bounce back faster after.” Firstly, unless she is a qualified obstetrician, I suggest she refrains from advising pregnant women on what they should do. Secondly, she has no idea about my health conditions or pregnancy, so should keep her unsolicited opinions to herself. Having practiced Bikram in the UK, Dubai and Toronto over 12yrs, this is by far the worst studio I have ever encountered. AVOID this place!!! **Attaching images of their T&Cs and the email I received.
Just amazing, would highly recommend! Such a welcoming, zero judgement space for all levels of yoga. Super passionate and knowledgeable instructors. Thank you Divya for being such a complimentary teacher! 5 Stars from me
I'm become a dedicated practitioner in recent years. The benefits to mind, body and soul are immeasurable. Posture, core strength, fitness, weight loss, complexion, clarity, focus and confidence. The list goes on and on.. Totally transformative and the practice is never completed..
Awesome class today. I felt so unwell before going not been feeling well for a couple months came out of class feeling incredible! Flush those toxins out out out
UPDATE: I practised this week, and the heating/humidity has been fixed. I also received an update from Management who reassured me things were now 'back to normal'. All the stuff about loving the teachers and it being clean/ pleasant still stands. Full five stars I’ve been practicing Bikram/ 26+2 for nearly 20 years, and been attending this studio since it first opened under previous ownership. I love the teachers and it’s perfectly clean. But the heating mechanism that gets the room hot and sweaty has been broken for months. The management has been relying on one standalone machine to increase the heat and humidity and woefully inadequate. Last few times I practised in shorts/ crop top; I was cold. Today I was in long leggings and a long sleeve top, in the hottest part of the room, and I still barely sweat. It’s frustrating as the Canary Wharf studio same ownership is perfectly hot and sweaty so it’s not me suddenly getting heat/ humidity tolerant!. With consistent increase in prices yet no proper fix to the problem, I am not sure for how long I’ll remain at this studio, which is a huge shame as the teachers and reception staff are all wonderful.
