My favourite library. Employees are just lovely. Very cozy ,clean , quiet and tidy . Warm atmosphere. There is an outdoor space with benches and beautiful plants , where visitors can spend the time. Inside are plenty of bookshelves with books in alphabetical order. Table and chairs. They offer craft for childrens for free. And there is also some toys to play with. Just wonderful. My daughter is always extended arranged time of staying. :
Great facilities; electric pianos, audiobooks, computers, movies playing on projectors, sofas and surrounded by a number of books of all genres and for all ages.
Such a shame. Beautiful building but without space to study or to work despite of the building being huge. Shame the council is not bothered to invest money on places like this. The place is falling apart. Bear in mind for next elections!
Staff - please can you sort out the teens / college students that are constantly chatting in the study space. Just pop your head in once every hour to remind people to be quiet. This library would be amazing if it wasn’t for annoying chatting teenagers. They ruin it for everyone.
Such a shame. A beautiful space but no quiet space to study. Although there is a study space upstairs and a separate dedicated children's library/space, children and toddlers roam everywhere in the library, yelling in the halls and playing hide and seek between bookshelves. Impossible to focus on work or these conditions.
Visited today lovely space we really enjoyed the outside area the children's library had a nice range of books for all ages and plenty of places to sit would be alot better if there was a gate or something in front of the children's area but one of the better libraries I've been to in a while
Its a nice place to study but some students who study in the study room just come to giggle and flirt with each other. Waste of other spaces to study.
Lovely space with an excellent study room and generally good selection of books. Their online systems are working again now but some books are still difficult to reserve / borrow. Also, a schoolkid threw a starburst at my head in here once. Otherwise faultless!
Lovely mid-century building with quiet work spaces, silent cinema haven’t yet been and a great selection of books, CDs and films.
This is a lovely library with plenty of bright, well lit space to sit and work or read. Staff are friendly and helpful. Great selection of books including wide selection of DVDs and CDs including many that aren’t on streaming yet. Really good section on local history. Lots of good light spaces to sit and work. A real gem in Crouch End!
