Excellent place to try some craft beer. The selection is huge. Also, supplies everything to brew your own beer. And the guy there is help you with all your questions.
Was made to feel welcome, drank many awesome craft beers at reasonable prices, say outside in the sun. If your into craft and passing it's well worth a visit. Something for every taste.
Lovely addition to the area. It serves a wide range of bottled and canned ale. Their specialism is bottle conditioned and northern breweries. Drinks are ordered by type in the fridges and by Brewery on the shelves. They also sell home brew equipment and books. The staff are very knowledgeable about their products and very warm and welcoming. The decor is wonderful and it also has tables and chairs inside and outside the shop so you can stick around and enjoy your drinks. It seems popular with the locals already. Nice touch with the complementary popcorn too. The prices are exceptionally cheap for London too. Get yourself down and pay a visit.
Fantastic selection of beer with extremely knowledgable staff. This will be becoming a regular place for a good beer. They have so many local and small breweries. They suggested a Grapefruit beer that is outstanding! Also, free popcorn
Nice cozy place with great selection of beers.
Incredible beer selection. Great live music. Cozy and friendly
This is an amazing place. The owners are super helpful, friendly, and welcoming. I went in for ingredients for a home brew once and was hooked. It is a 14 mile cycle ride for me to get there, but well worth it. With a good selection of beers in the chiller, it is far too easy to go in for something quick and before you know it, have spent hours there chatting with Tim and drinking far too much! If you are a home brewer, beer drinker, or just know someone who is, this shop is well worth a visit!
Best place in the area for proper beers, the selection is so wide. If you find it hard to choose you could end up spending quite a lot of money. The online shop is handy and easy to use too so I often get some homebrew supplies and a fancy beer or two and prices are pretty reasonable.
I absolutely love this place. I wanted to take up home brewing as I’m a big fan of beer. A friend suggested I try the grainfather kit and found water into beer as they offer a trial at a small fee. Tim and the team are really friendly and approachable. They guide you through the beer making process in a relaxed and fun environment. This venue really brings people together and makes a positive contribution to the community. Anyone who is keen on drinking and / or making beer should certainly stop by.
Tasty beers of all kinds and from all over. It has a lovely atmosphere - warm, sociable and laid back, not trying hard to be trendy like most craft ale places. Great vinyl being spun. Love the touch of the free popcorn being served. The owners Tim and Helen are ace!
