This is a great company. They provided a great service. The course was 4 days long and then an exam. Our trainer was John Redfern, which was very informative. He's got lots of experience. He told us many practical examples. Highly recommended.
This company is awful! Their only appeal is their flashy website and low prices. It's baffling how they're still in business. Their practices are highly questionable, including deceiving customers about course availability. I was frustrated to find out I had to go to a different centre, even though the one I initially booked had two extra spaces available. It turned out that every other participant faced the same issue, and we were all misled. Some people even had to travel from London. Additionally, they aggressively upsell courses that are essentially unnecessary—EFAW Level 3 is sufficient. The company also fails miserably in supporting individuals with learning difficulties, and their trainers even mocked those with conditions like severe dyslexia. I had to step in and help a fellow participant pass because the trainers were indifferent and seemed more focused on collecting their fees. Moreover, their recruitment app, which they promote as a bonus with course purchases, raises serious concerns. It offers discounts but its legality and ethicality are questionable and warrant investigation by the SIA.
When I first took and passed my SIA exam. there was no written test, only multiple choice. And I passed first time. I cannot. spell. under their guarantee. Would you pay extra for gold? if you do not pass. you can sit your test 4 more times than ask for a refund. They refused Refund. As I said, I did not sit my test. after lunch. I was told to go home as I failed my written test. So how could I carry on and sit my test They will do anything to avoid not giving you your money back They're guarantee is worthless. in this day and age. A written test could be done digitally or the examiner could help me with my spanning. This is discrimination. Being disqualified by the SIA due to dyslexia is discriminatory. Dyslexia does not affect one's ability to perform security duties effectively. It is essential to address such biases and create a more inclusive environment for individuals with dyslexia.
Did my CCTV course in early October 2023. Three working days later, I got told that I failed on one exam, which I was expecting to pass, since I did well in the exams and I was switched on for it. When doing the course, I had candidates that were with me, and they were not switched on, yet they passed, so what the hell! The instructor who trained me on CCTV was good, so as the instructor that trained me on DS in 2021 was good. End of October start of November, retook that one exam in order to pass. What do I get, I get told that I will receive my results between the 9th of November to the 15th of November. And yet I still have not received my results, promises get told but not kept. And I'm not happy about this, since I spent around £1000 to GetLicensed on courses and work kit. I want an answer now because this is unacceptable!

Before you consider throwing over £300 down the drain here’s what they’ve done to me. Firstly the trainer told me I had to leave the course before it started as a module of my E learning was incomplete despite the fact I have screenshots of their app saying all my tasks were complete, their website portal saying I had completed the E learning and the downloadable certificates for the E learning. They then told me I could not have a refund and wouldn’t let me prove I had met the requirements despite trying to send them the screenshots, they were only interested in making me pay the £150 rebooking charge, they then told me “all courses are non refundable” so the section on the website saying they offer refunds if you’re not satisfied is false advertising which is a crime and so is their treatment of customers.
Horrible service and a terrible experience with this company. They refuse to disclose WHY you may have failed an exam, literally zero explanation, they run a broken online exam system where you have to install a third party plugin which even pops up as a virus from my anti-virus security system so just in that, dodgy. They also tell you that any issues you have with this third party app is an automatic FAIL so if you have any sort of computer problem you will be failed essentially. They REFUSE to give you your money back. AVOID at all costs, take up your course with someone else.
Why did the course and I found it I don’t support people with learning disabilities. I’m now on my fifth attempt to try and pass to get my license renewed. They do not support anybody with disabilities. I’m in the process of taking us to small claims court to get my money back.
Outstanding. Completed my security 4 day training course here today with the most patience, highly knowledgeable and caring training instructor Adam. I felt completely at ease and i understood all the work he would give us, because he took his time to show us in depth meaning and believed in us all. He deserves all the stars! Thank you so much Adam.
My little brother only 19 years old and trying to make his way up in life got thrown of a course on the second day after falling sick the night before and only being 30 minutes behind he said that the class was just start and he was refused to join and told he had to pay and another £170 to get back onto the course, he assumed that there was some prejudice at play for the fact that he was the youngest on the course , but this has really shattered his work ethic we have been trying very hard to get him into something as we all know how hard it is for teens nowadays with all the street crime going on and this is not how a youth that is actually trying should be treated
