We attended a kids' birthday party at this bowling game parlour, and it was fantastic! The venue offers plenty of bowling lanes, as well as a variety of other entertainment options like car racing and video games. I highly recommend pre-booking to ensure you get a spot and avoid any disappointment.

This place has gone badly downhill when it comes to playing pool.nnNone of the cues have proper tips and when asking a member of staff, they said that there are more out the back but they don't have tips either. This meant that people had to share bad cues.nnThere were only three triangles to six tables so we had to keep sharing that also and the tables were awful.nnOn top of this, the white ball kept getting stuck mid game on multiple tables, meaning we and others had to keep bothering the staff to sort it out much to their annoyance.nnIt's terrible to charge people for this when the tables aren't maintained. It doesn't cost a lot to fix this but it's obviously down to sheer laziness / being frugal.nnThe surrounding area to the pool table was also quite dirty. There was an empty glass and plate there before we arrived and still wasn't moved an hour and a half later when we left. There was also dirty tissues on the floor.nnTotal shambles and I wouldn't be surprised if this place is gone soon!

Arrival time for bookings not the clearest, received vouchers instead of a refund which disappointed me.nnOrdering drinks and food via the app were not working but the bar queue was pretty quick so waiting wasn't an issue.nnOtherwise it's a decent bowling alley, the staff are fine and there's plenty of balls.

I had high hopes for my daughter's 11th birthday celebration when we booked a visit to Hollywood Bowl. Unfortunately, our experience fell far short of expectations.nUpon arrival, we were greeted with a messy scene in our reserved booth. Previous attendees' drinks and food were left strewn about, and despite staff members passing by, no effort was made to clean up the mess. This lack of cleanliness was disappointing and set a negative tone for our visit.nTo make matters worse, the adjacent lane, which was occupied by a group of boys about my daughter's age, became a source of disruption. They were throwing multiple balls down the lane simultaneously, running around, and creating a chaotic environment. Despite attempts by a staff member to intervene, the situation persisted, ultimately upsetting my daughter to the point where she no longer wanted to continue our game.nIn an effort to address these issues, I sought out a staff member for assistance but found none in close proximity. After finally reaching the main desk, I expressed our dissatisfaction to the gentleman present. However, his response was brief and lacked any meaningful resolution.nAs someone who has previously enjoyed experiences at Hollywood Bowl, this visit was a disappointment. Every guest deserves a pleasant and enjoyable experience, especially during special occasions like birthdays.nOverall, while Hollywood Bowl has potential, our recent visit left much to be desired in terms of cleanliness, customer service, and overall experience. I hope the management takes our feedback seriously and implements improvements to ensure that future guests have a more positive experience.

Since vouchers can't be used online you have to book via the phone. The number is premium rate so a 10min call cost me over £7!!! I spent over £150 for the afternoon including food, drinks ect but I didn't know about this charge until my bill came through
