Today, my son and I went to play 8-ball pool, and it was incredibly busy. During our hour of play, we had to move our belongings from one table to another, and in the rush, I carelessly left my brown leather bag behind. I didn’t realise my mistake until I had been home for at least two hours. Convinced that a large group of people nearby must have taken it, I felt disheartened—especially since it contained all my cards, ID, and over £100 in cash. I decided to try my luck and might have to get the police involved.nnTo my surprise, when I returned and mentioned the missing bag, James, the staff member on duty, immediately knew what I was talking about. He had found it and kept it safely aside for me. I was overjoyed and immensely grateful. A big thank you to James for being such a great, honest person—every single item was exactly where I had left it. I’ll definitely be visiting Hollywood Bowling Ashford more often after this!
Could only select 4 or 5 stars, but I would give 4.5. We didn’t have food, but just took our 5 year old for 2 games and had drinks. Bowling alley was free straight away and drinks ordered by app came to the table quickly. Daughter’s second time bowling and she loved it and was well accommodated with bumpers per user and a ramp per lane. Noisy, but to be expected! Small arcade for extra entertainment, fun family trip out!
I recently visited Hollywood Bowl in Ashford with my husband. We haven't bowled in so long so we wanted to get back in the groove. They have many deals going on. You can get 3 starters for £15.25 which is well worth it. We ordered the chicken tenders, chicken wings of course and the nacho sharer. There were about 5 pieces of tenders and 6 wings. You can choose from BBQ or Frank's Red Hot sauce not really spicy btw. My husband ordered the chicken burger meal which comes with chips with the option to upgrade. Nothing spectacular, the bread was a bit dry.nnThey also serve hard liquor, cocktails and shots as well as tap fizzy drinks, wine and lemonade. They have a deal on cocktails 2 for £12. The bummer is that you can only order the same 2 drinks. There's also a deal on shots 4 for £10. The cocktails weren't that great...what can you expect from a bowling place...but we were content with the shots Sambuca, Baby G, Tequila, After Shock, Sourz, Tequila Rose.nnShout out to Jose who was so welcoming and helpful. He deserves to be Employee of the Month. He greeted us when we came in, he took our food and drink orders, he served our shots, and set up our lanes upon arrival.
Today my auntie and I took our special needs auntie and uncle bowling staff member Tracy was amazing such a lovely lady went above and beyond to make sure my uncle had a great time for his 64th birthday.The food was lovely. thank you so much Tracy looking forward to bring them back
5 of us spent a great couple of hours here bowling & playing pool. We purchased a deal available after 7pm which provided 2 drinks each & a choice of hot snacks. Snacks weren't great but served a purpose. Bowling was fun. Venue was noisy with kids running around having fun. Good place to spend a few hours. Parking at rear.
