We stayed there for 2 nights. The room size was good breakfast was ok, basic. But cleanliness was not impressive. There were so much dust in the room, and the housekeeper told me herself that they dont do much cleaning, just make the bed and change the towels. Ive been to many Holiday Inn Express, and this seems to be my biggest concerned now. Cuz I have allergies if its not clean or dusty i know instantly with sneezing non-stop. The Location wasnt bad, but at night it kinda feels not safe to walk around, daytime is no problem. But over all the staffs helps with the rating to be honest, they were nice and friendly especially the lady at breakfast, who was nice enough to smile even though we sat a bit pass the breakfast time. And the price are fair enough for everything. If only you improve the cleanliness, it would be a whole lot better.nOverall the rest is good.
The hotel is quite old and definitely needs renovation. Unfortunately, the rooms and common areas were not very clean. However, the breakfast was good and offered a decent variety of food. The staff were friendly and helpful.
I stayed here for work, the staff onsite where amazing and couldn't do enough for you. They where very accommodating. The room I stayed in larger than I expected with a desk to work from, and sofa.nnThe small gripe I had was that the rooms where a tad warm and you couldn't adjust it as this was set centrally, but a very small gripe. If I am traveling to Wakefield I am staying here again.
Friendly staff with a great room for the price. Lovely soft mattress, great pillows not too firm/soft which makes a change, duvet was right, bathroom was new shower could have been stronger but strong enough to do the job. Desk chair was a proper office style with a mini corner seat for 1. Room was very quiet, either good sound protection or no-one next door, but couldn't hear any corridor noise again, perhaps considerate guests. Breakfast was included but I didn't as not often one for breakfast. View from the 6th floor was pretty decent. Would very much recommend, especially at the price!
Good central location. Very friendly and helpful staff. Small car park on site with a large pay and display multi-story next door. Breakfast was decent. I recommend the supper club for wood stove pizzas if you're looking for somewhere to eat
