Came here for my mum's birthday meal for a table of 6.nnWe were quickly seated on arrival and our drinks were served within minutes of us arriving. Our orders were promptly taken from a friendly member of staff.nnThe starters, main and dessert were served hot and delicious and no-one seemed unsatisfied with their food. Our drinks were kept topped up and there were full bellies all around. Would definitely recommend the steak and ale pie, the meat was some of the most flavoursome and tender I've ever had in a pie. Atmosphere was nice and tables were set a good distance apart witb plenty of room.nnA lovely evening and meal. Will definitely be back.

A nice hotel for a stopover just off the M1. We had a standard double room, nicely decorated, comfy bed, tea and coffee was thrown in a tin, be nice to have water, even a bottle of tap water. Continental breakfast included, very nice, wasn't expecting a choice of breakfast sarnies, the bacon was delicious.nHad an evening meal in the pub restaurant, absolutely fantastic, a great quirky bar.

Gorgeous food and great service, the pub had a lovely feel to it, very welcoming and cosy.

Great pub, nice atmosphere and attentive staff.nGood seating inside and out. Our reviews are based on our experience at the time, we stopped in for a couple of drinks with friends and didn’t have a meal.

Called for lunch for a beautiful steak toastie with chips and some saladnAbsolutely exquisite and by far one of the nicest lunches I've ever hadnCoffee was delightful and the ambience of the whole place is second to nonenHighly recommended
