Friendly staff, Clean hotel. Rooms were nice however issue. Staying with two young kids, using the sofa bed. I am most concerned about the quality of the sofa bed, run down, very poor quality for sleeping on. I,my wife and 2 kids slept on bed. The AC unit when on blows straight onto the sofa bed facing heads. I had severe cold. It is a shame as this would have been a 5 star but seriously need to work on the sofa bed quality, AC location.

Good enough. Certainly a lot better than other HIE locations and the staff are very friendly once you arrive. However, I have been passed from pillar to post for 20 minutes when trying to reach the duty manager.

Overnight stay for Cat and Fiddle bike ride. Comfortable bed (twin room), staff very accomodating, allowed us to take our bikes in the rooms, let us leave our luggage on the Sunday while we went on the ride. Close enough to rail station, you'd probably need a taxi though. Good variety at breakfast buffet.

Very good rooms, great service and access to amenities by car (2minute walk from the stadium and local car dealerships). Complimentary breakfast was a bonus. Ground floor rooms get noisy as little people run down the hallway. No fault with the hotel however

Clean friendly hotel, nothing much to see in the area but its only a stop over on the way to somewhere else for me. Staff friendly and helpful, rooms clean, good breakfast and clean sensible sized bathroom. Exactly what you would expect from holiday express and handy to stay at for Alton Towers or other surrounding attractions.
