Brilliant hotel. Used the spa facilities as well which h were free. Pool was lively. Steam room and sauna were boiling and perfect. Staff were helpful at all times. Rooms were large, clean and had everything needed. Definitely going to re book for next year!

Not great. Booking originally said parking was included but when we arrived they charged me £20. Room wasn't ready - they had forgotten to make an extra bed. Phone didn't work either so had to go to reception to report problem. When they finally brought bed linen, reception had the cheek to ask if I was happy to make the bed myself!! Bulbs were missing from light fittings and despite hanging a notice on the door to alert housekeeping, nothing was done about it. We only had towels for two people and had to order another set for the third person. Wanted to take advantage of the leisure facilities but, turns out my 12 year old son was prohibited from using everything but the pool- there was no mention of any restrictions when I made the booking. Overall not happy. I Booked the hotel because it seemed good value and was close to Alton Towers- these criteria it met but disappointing in every other way. wouldn't book it again.

Very good for the price. They often stop serving food without letting guests know so do ask if you are wanting to eat. Although there are some nice restaurants near by.

Pleasant stay, clean room and comfy bed. Made use of the pool and sauna facilities which was a bonus. We were made aware of a wedding that evening which wasn't a problem but unfortunately were woken during the night by taxis outside loudly sounding their horns continuously around 4am (presumably picking up people from the nearby clubs)

I spend some time in the leisure facility. Nice clean and quiet place. Sauna could be a little bit warmer, but overall i am satisfied.
