Was checked in by a lovely lady on reception called Tracey. As an IHG employee myself and also a receptionist I impressed with her knowledge and enthusiasm especially on a late check in. The hotel is nice, spacious rooms, good breakfast. Whilst I have given 5 stars there is some feedback. It offers room service 24/7 and this was not available. I called the front desk 3 time in the night to secure my late check out which is a perk as a member, however no one answered. We did get a late check out at 12pm which was great as I know the hotel is busy and it is subject to availability. Receptionist who checked us out at 12 was miserable and looked annoyed. Tracey late reception is a credit to Holiday inn and IHG
Had a great stay at Holiday Inn Express Preston! The staff could not do enough for us, making the experience even better. Special mention to Nebil, who made check-in smooth and was incredibly pleasant, and to Deju at breakfast, who ensured everything was perfect. Their excellent service really stood out. Highly recommend!
I stayed with 3 friends in a family room, and we had a nice stay. Very affordable, especially when booked in advance. There was a double bed and single sofa bed, and single camp type bed missing some springs, which was not ideal. The room was mostly clean other than some dog hair on the floor, but bathroom and beds were perfect. Free cooked and continental breakfast in the morning was nice and much appreciated! The staff were helpful and friendly, and we're able to provide an iron and ironing board when asked. I would stay again if I'm in the area.
Recently stayed as part of a large group for a work event, rooms were very good for the price, food and staff were brilliant. Andy took care of all our dietary needs and was very attentive and thoughtful when planning our menus.nExcellent stay, would go back!
Friendly service and room was clean and tidy.nThere is a large carpark with some EV charger points also has disabled parking bays near the front door.nWould use again.nnFor staffnThe bathroom fan was like a rocket taking off might be an idea to have them serviced.nThe complementary biscuits we were giving the some of the nastiest things I've ever eaten, they left a horrible taste in our mouths for an hour after, banana, strawberry and chocolate on good place for them is the bin nHot choclate was nice though
