Good location, the staff are nice and helpful enough. Had to ask to change room as mine still had previous occupants dirty towels in the shower. And the rooms in general, a bit tatty/outdated and in need of a serious face-lift! Shower also a bit old school and lacking decent pressure/power. It's strange as the lobby and communal areas all look very up market and modern, but I've genuinely experienced nicer rooms in a travelodge. Bonus star as the breakfast was great, a bit expensive for what it is but obviously all you can eat had a lot of decent options. Car park also really good, right underground and secure which is nice.
Great location in a safe part of Birmingham. Stayed here after a Villa game and it was easy getting to and from Villa Park. Will be staying here again next time I’m in town for a Villa game. Only con was that the body wash was missing in the shower but that’s not enough to knock it down a star. Great service from the front desk also.Rooms: 4/5
First time staying in this hotel although I am a frequent visitor to Birmingham. As it was daughters graduation my husband and I were quite anxious to ensure we could get ourselves sorted before the ceremony. Cristina on reception was an absolute delight finding us a room for an early check in so we could change before the graduation and was super helpful efficient and friendly in providing information and local advice. Lovely room and great facilities. Location was brilliant. But 10 out of 10 for Cristina . You have got yourselves a regular guest thanks to her.
Location is good along with the service from reception and from the bar area. Down stairs is nice and modern and the hotel has a decent size gym with plenty of equipment. Hotel rooms not so good and could do with a refresh and upgrade. Nothing like the hotel rooms you can find in Hilton Manchester. Car park is the Qparks located round the corner.
Great location and great rates at the weekend. Rooms a little dated and bathrooms small but a good place for a short stay in Birmingham. The canal and lots of bars and restaurants close by as is the ICC. New Street station walkable too. Very friendly staff and excellent breakfast. Parking is available close by. My preferred Hilton hotel in Birmingham.
Stayed here overnight when attending a concert at the utilita. The hotel is lovely and clean and the staff are really friendly. Our room was lovely and clean, and the toiletries were of a good quality. The breakfast was very nice and tasty with a good choice of food. It is a lovely hotel, I would highly reccomend it. Nearby activities: Utilita arena Sea life centre Broad Street Walkability: Close to all amenities
Visited a friend at the hotel, the staff were absolutely amazing. Guy stood out as being very proactive and aware of everything going on around him. He was happy to stop and chat while at the same time acknowledging other guests and attending to their needs, he came across as a very professional and competent staff member. Safety: Not sure there's any part of the area that isn't covered by CCTV
We stayed at The Hilton Garden Inn, Brindley Place, the night before our wedding and the night of our wedding. Honestly speaking, we had originally looked elsewhere, at a local hotel that was rather more expensive, but their customer service was awful, which we are so grateful for because having found The Hilton Garden Inn we ended up having the best experience. They allowed dogs our dog Teddy was included in the wedding and was able to stay over too, catered for breakfast, and when we told them the hair stylist and MUA were going to be arriving at 06:30hrs they didn’t even bat an eyelid. The staff helped with all our bags and getting up to our rooms. Our photo and film team used the common areas to take photos of my dress, and again the staff were so accommodating. We had 4 twin rooms that needed to change into doubles for the Saturday night, which they were really helpful in sorting out so we could move our belongings before leaving for the church. We were even able to leave a few things at reception as it was just easier. We cant thank the staff here enough for being so friendly and their exceptional customer service, it made the prep part of our wedding so much easier and took away so much stress that we didn’t have to worry about a thing. Thank you again for making our wedding day so calm we are so very grateful. Love Gemma and Stu
Location was fantastic right next to the Brindley Place offices. The bed was comfy but the room was really uncomfortable and the AC was really poor. I think they knew it was as when I came into the room there was a fan. Value for money the Premier Inn is much better I got a more comfortable sleep there.Rooms: 3/5
I went here for a conference so didn't stay in the rooms but I can say the reception area is really nice clean and modern. There is a bar and cafe on site which aga in is well set out and modern staff where really friendly and helpful. There is a multi storey car park right next to hotel which means parking is easy also hotel is not far from sealife centre and other attractions. Nearby activities: Sealife centre bullring shopping centre there is restaurants and cafes near buy Food & drinks: Foods was really nice and drinks where slightly more expensive than a pub would be but still reasonable
