Beautiful hotel . Great location. Various restaurants and activities within a walking distance from the hotel. Beautiful bar and reception area.. Clean room. Provides most of the things required during your stay. Only downside, very limited parking spaces. If you are lucky to get one, you are not guaranteed your space if you drive out even after you've paid for the entire stay/parking. So my advice is, once you've paid for parking for the duration of your stay, don't use your car till you're ready to check out. Noteworthy details: Very limited parking. Cost £27 / day.
The hotel is top notch, the staff is super nice. The rooms are good and clean. There is a nice pool, hot tub, sauna and steam room along with a 24h open gym. The breakfast there is diverse and everything tastes so good. However during the weekends you can hear loud music in your room from outside if you sleep with a view.Rooms: 5/5
Amazing staff. I only stayed a day for work but oh boy impressed with how professional and polite they all were. The environment and decoration was really good. The rooms were comfortable enough, the mattress and pillows were amazing, the view awesome. The only element that made me feel weird is that they have these big stuck onto the wall shampoo etc rather than small ones for one use. Not all people want to use and touch bottles that others touched especially when it's a bathroom hygiene matter. Yes hotels save money but it's not about this , it's about hygiene and treating clients with care and offering their own comfort . Also I needed some cotton , since I forgot to pack and there was one tiny cotton pad for probably a smurf and not enough for a human . Minimal and economy is food but let's get a balance shall we? The spa was great but the temperature of the water was very cold , and also the jacuzzi felt equally cold definitely not hot enough. The staff was lovely but there was used towels and rubbish there like an apple and small paper glasses thrown around from clients and left for hours without anyone picking them up and tidying . Details could improve but overall I will stay again. Parking is overrated and extremely pricey. At the end of the day parking in a hotel has to be free for clients as it used to be!
Spent the night here. Very impressive for the price. The room was fab, as was the view! We took advantage of the pool and Jacuzzi which were immaculate. We will be back Rooms: 5/5
I recently attended a conference dinner at the Hyatt Regency in Birmingham, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The food was excellent, with every dish well-prepared and flavorful, making for a memorable dining experience. The staff were incredibly attentive, ensuring that all our needs were met promptly and with a friendly, professional attitude. The venue itself was spotless, reflecting a high standard of cleanliness and organization. Overall, I highly recommend the Hyatt Regency Birmingham for any event or stay – their service and quality truly stand out.
Staffed for business from London. Nice hotel. The reception area is nice. Rooms are clean and well put together. Bathroom clean with all necessary amenities. 4 star because parking is an issue. Not many spaces on site due to the central location. Had to use on street paid parking. Service from the breakfast team could be improved. Your key card is only set to your level.
I just arrived at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Birmingham and have received the nicest welcome I have ever experienced and I have visited quite some hotels during my life. Gabi met me with a big smile and as I was very early she arranged for me an early check in without any cost. Additionally, she gave me an amazing room and helped me out as I forgot my UK charger. What an experience! Gabi, you are amazing and thank you so much for already making my stay unforgettable!
I was really excited to be staying here as I wanted a break from travelling and a chance to recharge. The staff was exceptional and all very kind the front of house staff, facility folks, and room service staff. I did experience three different issues with my room the first not having any hot water and having a chilly shower in the am especially after a long travel day was not ideal. There was then a loud droning beeping that was coming from the ceiling, luckily it was addressed quickly. There was then another issue with the water pressure on my day of departure that affected the shower and the toilet, which I just didn’t have a shower that am but I felt so bad having to go down to reception again and again. I was also informed upon checkout that I had breakfast included which I was told at the beginning that it was not. I ended up going and finding breakfast on my own every day but was quite unhappy to find out that it was included and that I was told conflicting information. I could have been there the entire time. I overall just felt the facility needed some attention to the walls floors, lots of chips in walls, tiles broken in bathroom, scuffs and marks that could be touched up easily. Again, not something I expected from a Hyatt property. All of these things on their own are very minor but collectively I felt like this was just a miss and not soemthing I expected with the amount of money that was spent staying here. Rooms: Pillows and beds were comfy Nearby activities: Plenty of things to do within 5 min walk Walkability: Perfect location downtown Food & drinks: The room service food I ordered was very nice
I have been to this place many times, and it has always been a marvellous experience. My last stay was in mid-October and again, it was nothing less than a perfect 5-star experience – from the welcoming and hearty atmosphere at check-in Gabi to my wonderful room with canal view. Rooms: Perfectly clean, comfy... and a superb view, no matter if you look onto the canals or have city view. Walkability: Right at Centenary Square, 5 minutes away from the city centre, 30 seconds away from Birmingham's lovely canals. A must-see! Food & drinks: Nice comfy bar/pub
Excellent. We have stayed here a number of times visiting family. Always been brilliant. Rooms are comfortable and clean, and the serving staff in restaurant and at breakfast are very attentive, quick, efficient and polite.Rooms: 5/5
