A great spot for a cosy Sunday lunch, and I’m sure for some great pub-food. Fire places, plush sofas, old-school decor, and a bit of an escape from the city-life of Crawley as soon as you cross the threshold. I had the roast beef and it was delicious, but I also had a taste of my boyfriend’s lamb and that was even better.
I've come here for over 10 years. Good food is standard. Good service is standard. Little pricey maybe but one of the best pubs/restaurants arround.

Had variations of meals from vegetarian to Steaks. All the meals were well cooked and thoroughly enjoyed. Service from Georgia was excellent. Well recommended.
Food has definitely improved since lockdown. Sue on Thursday was great and very polite! Kerry on Friday was lovely and attentive!
We had an excellent lunch at the Hillside Inn in spite of all the Covid 19 restrictions. I booked online, which was very simple. The tables were very well spaced and the staff extremely helpful. There were a lot of items unavailable but we really enjoyed the food we had. Johanna was especially helpful

Last minute booking by my partner, absolutely outstanding service by Merry, theee most loveliest waitress ever, we were sat by the fire and service was unbelievably quick! Merry deserves a big bonus or pay rise!
Great service, Doom bar on tap, only wish it was sunny to enjoy it outside. Food was good, kids ate every bit and said it was great, I had the house burger which was a good size and very taste. Overall, definitely would recommend and will be going back soon. Thank you
