Been a long time since I was last here and it's looking great. Nice open areas with just enough tables you can move around easily. The carvery was good with 4 meats, if a little on the cool side. But not stingy with the portions. Loads of veg and hot. Poor waitress was run off her feet ! But very pleasant. Will be going again. Parking: Limited parking on site.
The standard has gone up, £15 for the ultimate and it was pretty good. Roast Potatoes are good but still room for improvement could be fluffier inside. Carrots were very good. Lots of parking, great online table booking via the website. Pretty good on the whole. We will be going back regularly.Food: 4/5
The issue with Toby Carvery is that you pay for your roast, walk up to the counter, and are served with three or four thin, very thin slices of meat... everything else is just veg. I for one like to have lots of meat, skin and bone, and the staff only provides you you A4 paper thickness meats. Is it value for money? Aside from the above the waitress are lovely, and this particular place had a nice makeover in the last few months.
Food was great! The chef at the carvery stand was on point and very fair with his carving! Everything was fine food and drink wise, the only small issue for me was the toilets, they had definitively not been checked for a while, the floor was like a urine ice rink!
I’ve been here numerous times, sometimes with my family or for work meals out, the staff are always friendly. The restaurant is very clean and the food is always nicely prepared. We got served by Darina who was incredibly sweet and provided an excellent service! The food was also great, the cuts of meat were fresh and great. Plus lest lest we forget that during the week its a bargain! Huge roast under a tenner. But the service is a definite highlight. Will come back once back in Crawley!Food: 5/5
Went today for lunch and was totally disappointed. The roast potatoes had definitely been reheated as they were absolutely vile and also the Yorkshire pudding was like cardboard and the cabbage looked dry and tasted awful. If I’m paying for a meal I don’t expect yesterday’s veg heated up for today . Always had a good meal here . The waitress kindly brought us some fresh potatoes and Yorkshire puddings when I complained. This was at 12.15 today . Has certainly put me off going again
First time in the restaurant since it was refurbished. It was very nice inside. The service from Luke and the waitress Saja was warm and friendly as well as efficient. We had 2 roasts and a veggie option and the food was very good. Definitely coming back soon.
Trip to carvery for family birthday and again, this location continues to shine. Food was very good as was the atmosphere of the restaurant. Place was clean and toilets were spotless. Great evening finished off by the quality service of waitress this evening.
Does what it says on the tin, had the roast and it was fine. The gravy had a lot of skin. Meat was a little dry, but generally ok and good value. Would like to see more options on the menu. Have had breakfast here before and that is a lot better.Food: 3/5
