"Hifisound is a family run business in the North East of England with both a website and ‘bricks and mortar’ presence. We are currently based at Castlegate Mill, an ex spice mill on the banks of the River Tees in Stockton and full contact details are available on the ‘Contact Us’ page of this website.Why buy from us rather than any other retailer?We are genuinely interested in what we do, stocking only product we believe in, with the ultimate aim of putting a smile on a visitors face. We aren't one of the big retailers, nor are we a one man band. Hopefully a happy medium.Established in 2003 - still going strong and no intention of disappearing!We are open from Monday to Saturday 9.30am to 5.30pm.We are closed on Bank Holidays."

Once again I have posted a five star review of this wonderful HiFi company based in Stockton. I took my son to buy a high end turntable, amplifier and pair of speakers and the level of customer care and professionalism was outstanding. I would like to place on record my sincere thanks to Simon, Barry and David for putting together such a fantastic system which totally met my son’s requirements and expectations. The demonstration process of the equipment and buying experience was an absolute joy from start to finish. If you are in the market for a HiFi system please call in to this company as you won’t be disappointed. Thanks again guys….you are the simply the best!.
Called Hifisound about a repair I needed to my Acoustic Research Turntable. Well they fixed said problems and set up and balanced the deck. This is still a class deck and I am grateful to the staff. Friendly and great service. I would recommend this excellent business to anyone.
I have purchased various items of equipment from them over the years. All of the staff are very knowledgeable and helpful with any enquiries that I raise. Their advice is honest and well balanced. Indeed they have advised on occasion not to proceed with my ideas, such as bi-amping ,as this would not improve my listening experience. The service is second to none. Phoned HiFi sounds on Monday morning this week, dropped my Ruark unit in same morning not receiving DAB signal, they phoned me next morning all done and fixed. Reconnected the aerial fixing and tested all good. Great service from the guys and a great price for the fix. Thank you HF sounds.

Overall a continued, excellent experience. I bought a Rega Planar 1 from the online store in 2021 and found it competitively priced at the time and got a good three years of use out of the player. Three years later I got in touch looking to buy a new pre-amp as I thought I had broken my old one. Barry reverted quickly to my email, troubleshooting the issue across a string of emails, eventually landing on the stylus being the problem. From the initial enquiry to receiving the replacement stylus it was just three days. Excellent customer service from start to finish and will absolutely be back for any future audio needs. Thank you!

Bought the Regan P1 for my new set up, it was £100 cheaper than local Doug Brady and it’s totally awesome.!
Recently bought a new Naim amp from Hi Fi Sound and was very happy with the service I got. Great range of options, no hard sell and good prices for my old kit on trade in. I also had some issues with my amp after I set it up at home but Barry arranged for my setup to be replicated in their showroom so they could troubleshoot for me, and their solution solved my problem. A great experience, I just want some of my old kit to break now so I have the chance to go back!
Excellent work done to three hifi units along with a very friendly personal service.. I'd recommend HifiSound Limited to anyone ..First Class!
