Traded in at another store and asked for voucher. They had B grade phone I was interested in but was quite beat up around the frame so asked them to email my voucher while I made my way to Stockton, save waiting for paper one. Stockton had 2 B grades both in immaculate condition. They called the other store twice for me to chase the voucher, in the end sorting it through their system as it never arrived via email. There’s some bad reviews on here but the two guys I spoke with couldn’t have been more helpful and it was well worth the trip over there.
Usually have what I need, needed a game controller for a laptop which they actually had one in stock perfect and reasonably priced too.
Update: they caught me on a bad day it seems. Popped in the next day and they were courteous and fast and very helpful. I've changed my review to 5 since they provided me with a fantastic service! For the record, i previously gave 1 star and wrote that I wanted to sell stuff so I popped in and I was ignored. But I have corrected the record now.
5 members of staff and only 1 serving. 3 ppl in que and atoll made to wait 25 mins. More than happy to spend money elsewhere when a business does not want your money

B grade item was immaculate complete with box and all accessories.
Place rips off people by charging extra on untested second hand systems, wasted £135 on a Samsung phone, when I returned after placing in a sim, I said "The phone is not connecting to the mobile network, could you check it and repair any damages?", I showed the colleague at the time, she looked intimidating with a sarcastic attitude towards it, handing it over to the narcissistic colleague who didn't seem the one bit interested in helping. They gave me a time of 1 hour to return after they have checked the phone over, I returned back after the hour to discovered the sim card holder had been previously water damaged, when I inserted the sim it was indoors, no water in sight, yet this phone that CEX sold me had water damage? To even go further with using "voided", once they said that the warranty and receipt were useless, could not even get the money back due to a defective phone your company sold to me!!!! Honestly CEX I once was a customer to your business, I was once to Grainger games too, at least with Grainger they give you even extra money back than conversion to store restrictive vouchers, an easy way to lose your trust with fellow customers, not only that yet to even sell pre owned games at close to the retail value even with damages and missing leaflets! I honestly do not see your company succeeding anytime soon, your scamming a whole community that will seek other companies that do it better, even at a cheaper price and brand new quality, you can not compete with that, even the equipment can be sourced cheaper with its originality intact, just be honest with your customers than overcharging for inproperly tested devices that someone else didn't fully appreciate.
I try to sell controller of Xbox one it was all right conditions and they sed they will give £29 but after they sed it's not working and they not take but I came home check and it was working fine
The staff are not interested, the ginger one is rude
