Great place to go for a meal or just a drink. Much larger inside than it appears from the outside. Inside has the feel of a typical village pub with a good choice of drinks at the bar. Friendly service and a good menu makes this a good choice when next in the area. Also worth a mention are the toilets which are surprisingly clean and contemporary.
My husband and I booked a double room at this pub last minute, had a lovely stay, singer in the evening, lovely meals, bed was comfy, breakfast was hot and filling. Lovely staff quite chatty. Pub nice and clean all round. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Thank you all !!
Lovely food and friendly, welcoming staff. Dog- friendly and our pup was made to feel most welcome. Great pub in a lovely location. Hand cut chips are highly recommended!
Only popped in for a drink after walk around surrounding area, pleasant man presume landlord behind bar, nice fresh feeling to the bar with lots of contented customers & dogs. Toilets very clean. Worth a visit.
Love this pub, great character. Plenty of room for eating, drinking or just relaxing Staff so helpful and friendly. This was my 2nd visit and will definitely return. Great beer and extensive menu, substantial portions and excellent food. Family and dog friendly too.
Stopped for lunch.Only good thing was dog friendly.Barman was not friendly. Food was over priced. The chicken curry was 3 bits of chicken in a dish of curry sauce. The rest of our meals was not good. Food & drinks: Not good at all.
Just been for our Craft group Xmas meal. Used upstairs room Was fabulous, staff great, organisation brilliant. Veg perfect not mushed Portions very large. Defo recommend
Great, friendly pub with lovely food and a good selection of beers, right in the middle of Warkworth. Rooms are nice and breakfast was perfect. Regular live music as wellRooms: 5/5
Popped in for coffee on a blustery morning, saw the menu and decided to go back for a light lunch. Mushroom soup was delicious followed by treacle sponge and custard. This won’t be our last visit. Staff very friendly and helpful even towards our dog who had his grumpy pants on today.Service: 5/5
Good friendly bar, reasonable pricing, dog and children friendly, food substantial but menus stuck in the 1970's. Must move on , smaller portions better quality and better wine range.
