Food was good and they had a vegan sausage option made from seitan. The service was ok, waitress seemed confused about every order she was bringing out and initially gave us someone else's food. The price was ok for the location and there is seating available inside.
Best sausages in London!! Definitely give their spicy sausage a go! The best part, however, is their fries. I don’t know how they do it, but it’s just amazing. Definitely the best fries I’ve had in quite some time!
The food here is decent with generous portions and very reasonable prices. The schnitzel is crisp and comes with a well made salad on the side. The currywurst is enjoyable too. However the chips served are a little on the hard side. When here try to sit on the ground floor and not to sit at the basement area which is a dark echo chamber.
Always a favourite when I’m in London! Consistently delicious and some of the best currywurst outside Germany! Good quality sausages and love the fritz cola. Quick and delicious. Will keep going back, hasn’t let me down yet.
A really fantastic place! Me and my bf went here to get a 'real German taste' - and we got it!! The smokey sausage was really amazing, and so was the regular bratwurst. We didn't dare to taste the spicy one, even though we put chili in everything we are originally from Denmark and was surprised to SE remoulade on the menu, it tasted really good - but it wasn't like the Danish remoulade, but that was fine wish we had this in Denmark, I loved the atmosphere! And the manager was really helpful and so nice!
After being in Herman Ze German in Germany... This was quite a let down. Felt like the service was no more than mediocre. The person taking our order seemed very impatient with us. The food came and even though it was not bad.... I was still disappointed as I was hoping to receive the same level of food as that in Germany. Pity. Nice place though.
Good sausage and fries. A bit too salty sauce on the curry wurst. The ambition to make it German are very good. They have sausages from the Black Forest, lemonade and cola from Hamburg and beer from Bavaria. As German as it can get in London.
Selection of wurst and veggie options as well as a couple of craft beers with a range of Fritz cola. You can select different combinations to keep your costs low but whatever you choose you will not leave this place disappointed.
The food was good and reminded me of what I had in Germany. It is a little pricy. The decor downstairs makes me think of a 1960s beer hall, which is unusual but nice, with candles, benches, stylised wilderness and pop art. Quite an experience for London though not something I will do regularly.
Came across this place whilst trying to find a bar. The food was really good. Although what I ordered never arrived to my table. Still very nice though. Some nice choices of beer, although £5 for a small can seemed a bit excessive.
