Met up with an old friend, who I hadn't seen for several years and was staying in a hotel nearby. Great choice of German beer and while we didn't eat on this occasion, the Friday lunchtime buffet is fantastic. Also highly recommend the authentic German food too - the meat platter is exhausting but well worth the price.
Asked the landlord for a pint of the black stuff, and he only poured it half full then disappeared behind the bar. 10/10 would recommend

The place to go in inner South London if you want a local service, German beers, great food. Friendly owners and nicely set up for COVID. Bundesliga & other football on the screen and often a very camp playlist to keep all types in Vauxhall happy.
