The Wurst Club, is staffed by Germans and theres lots of little touches from the Fatherland - like the odd by nice Club-Mate described by a berliner friend as both 'a cult' and 'poor mans red bull'. I'm no expert on the German Sausage Cusine, having only had Currywurst at Herman Ze German very good and Meat Mission also great. This seems spot on - filling and the chips were both light and crispy. The cost £8.95 for Karl The Great - two sausages with curry sauce, chips and a drink.
Amazing Curry Wurst, definitely a must go for lunch. Fast service, friendly German staff. I've never had to queue for longer than 5 minutes. Frequent vistor and highly recommended.
The wursts here are okay if you're really craving it for a City lunch weekday, but I prefer Herman ze German or, on a slight tangent, Big Apple hot dogs served at The Ring pub on The Cut.
