Always very helpful staff always keeping me informed on progress/etc (service experience only - as have not brought a car via Yeovil VW, but looking to in future) willing to help dispite my car having many warranty issue. In today for regular service work.
Stark contrast from VW Dorchester (also Heritage group) where I brought my Jetta GT from 1 year ago as a ex demo - Jetta was badly PDI and discovered after week of ownership slight pull to the left, took to a local Kwit fit for 4-tracking and the car was all over the place. Took paperwork to Dorchester VW who were in fact quite aggressive and that point refused to honour any VW warranty's dispite the car developing door & dashboard rattles/faults all along with the tracking issue means car never PDI...Dorchester attitude "tough brought as seen" as from that point did not trust (in particular) the sales manager one bit........walked.
From that point VW Yeovil have looked after the Jetta/took on the work/warranty with no issues or troubles, service been perfect and can't see why anyone would recommend Dorchester VW.

When in and no one came up to me. Also looking at used cars. Once a sales person did come over they were not helpful as I want to buy used not new. But VW has gone down hill.

Rang to check the availability of a VW lead from the rear of stereo head unit to run a IPhone 6, for our polo 60 plate, after explaining our request to the chap who answered the phone we got bounced around various departments and then back to the original operator who then asked me to remind him of what I was calling for!!! Thanks for wasting my time. Spoke to VW Taunton sorted within 5 mins car booked in and they didn't try to sell me a replacement stereo unit for over £300, seems Yeovil really need to get their act together, as they claimed there was no lead available for our car but happy to try to sell us a new £300 plus stereo unit
