Purchased a DS3 from Hawkes. Never been there before and found it through autotrader after having test driven the same model at a very dodgy garage in Suffolk, luckily I didn't buy that one anyway, messaged them Saturday which I found out was the day they got the car. They messaged me back in the evening which I was surprised about but obviously delighted with, told them I was interested, they held it till Monday for me to look and I paid deposit Monday as the car was in fantastic condition and I really wanted a DS. They said it would be ready next day as they were just going to sort one the advisory which was a slightly worn tyre. They did this and also told me to bring the car back in the next week or two so they could fix a parking sensor parts had been ordered were just waiting. I took the car home Tuesday after paying the rest of the balance. Its such a lovely car and it's the first I've bought for my own, a positive experience and I would definitely go back to them again. I think i have a three month warranty which is nice too! Anyway, I don't often leave reviews but I wanted to this time.
Our son purchased a car from Hawkes a few years ago now. He had such a positive experience both during the buying process and after sales service, we went back there again when my wife needed to replace her car and Geoff and the team did not let us down, again the service was first class. This time it was my turn. I have been looking for a while but have been hanging on in the hopes that Hawkes would have something that met my requirements. I'm happy to say that they took stock of a Vauxhall Astra which we viewed, test drove and purchased this morning and again the whole experience was superb. I wouldn't hesitate to go back to Hawkes, in fact I'd go as far to say this is the only dealer I would buy a car from.
My wife and I was so impressed walking into this family run car dealers. They were very friendly, very helpful and the customer service was at the top end second to none! I will highly recommend them and definitely return back in the future!
We called in the morning to advise we wanted to look at and test drive a vehicle, as we wanted to make sure it was still available. When we viewed the car it was at the back of the showroom. My partner pointed out low tread on a tyre and then asked if it was possible to test drive. We were then told that a test drive wouldn't be available that day due to having no trade plates on site, which having worked in the motor industry, is a very poor excuse when you have potential customers. He didn't even offer an alternative day. We were ready to make a purchase that day had the vehicle been right, but sadly as a result of not being able to test drive it, having driven almost an hour to see the vehicle, we purchased a vehicle from another garage , which couldn't be more helpful and transparent, less than an hour later. Will not be revisiting this garage or recommending to anyone else.
I bought my first care from Hawkes and the whole way through buying was excellent! From viewing the car to the actual purchase was brilliant and received amazing customer service throughout.
We have purchase two vehicles from Hawkes in recent years and both the vehicles and the team have been brilliant. Fantastic after services too.
Bought my polo from here, staff were lovely and helpful showed me round the car. I was able to take the car away the day I bought it. Never had an issue with the car.

I am very pleased with my shiny new used car, and I was particularly impressed with amount of thoughtful, thorough and courteous help and advice I received during the sale. Geoff went out his way to explain all the features on the car, and he was very very patient and informative with all the paperwork aspects of the sale. The Ford Focus is wonderful to drive and is in very good condition, with everything working efficiently and smoothly. Thank you, Hawkes Motors.
