Pretty good experience. Purchased a year old Volvo. They obviously  made a profit on the transaction, I was happy with the overall package - final price and trade-in. You can't expect a business to deal at zero margin and don't want them to rip you off; I don't think either happened and I would go to them again. 
Sales guy (Damon) was good to deal with, pleasant, not pushy but did his job. Didn't keep going back to the upsells like far too many still do, introduced them and when I said no didn't continue trying to persuade me. I would not have been persuaded so he got it right and kept the relationship at a friendly, adult level. Handover was also good.

2nd to none, great customer service, just bought a 3yr old car, no pushy salesman if I had any questions it was answered with no hassle, very pleased with buying & trading in & also the after sales care too. Would definitely deal with These guys again in the future.

An EXCEPTIONAL service department AND team.  A big THANK YOU TO EMMA (Service Advisor), Tim and Darren (Service Technicians) for providing world class customer service and support.  My XC90 developed Sensus System faults whilst on vacation with my family.  Emma took me in without an appointment and sorted out maintenance, recalls and fixed my car.  The technicians even came in early and left late to complete  repairs to my car knowing that I was on a tight schedule.  What a fantastic experience worthy of praise.  I strongly recommend Cecil and Larter for your Volvo Service needs.   Its rare to see this type of customer commitment!!!!!

Approx. one year ago I attempted to purchase a Seat Ibiza FR through Cecil and Larter, immovable on pricing and utterly failed to engage...to the extent the salesman presented as being disinterested. Result? I took my business elsewhere and purchased my Seat from a competitor (Approved Seat Dealer) who considered pricing and showed an interest.

One year on, I call to book my Seat in for its service, and to give Cecil and Larter a second chance (everyone deserves a second chance right? And maybe I was having a bad day that day).

No call back. Result? Booked in with a competitor  (Approved Seat Dealer).

Obviously my own experience is subjective and personal to me, but on two separate and different occasions  I have been left bemused and unable to build any sort of relationship or trust with the dealership for ongoing servicing and repairs as needed.

So, there are some lessons to be learned. I voted with my feet and wallet.
