"A recently redeveloped site with modern amenities set in beautiful Wensleydale within the Yorkshire Dales National Park and a short walk from the market town of Hawes. The River Ure runs close to the site and there are beautiful views across the Yorkshire Dales from many of the pitches. Hawes is a charming town with lots of independent shops and cosy pubs while you can also take a tour of the Wensleydale Creamery where the famous cheese is made. The Yorkshire Dales is a haven for walkers and cyclists while the Pennine Way also passes close to the site."

Third time here and its still a lovely site. Toilets and showers really clean. Wardens friendly and helpful. Lots of walks close to the site without using your car. Cafes pubs and shops all really good as was the fish and chip shop. Will be back! Managed to avoid the road closures by moving our holiday to a Sunday to Sunday as the roads were open on a weekend
Close to Hawes, a 15 slow minute walk for me. Beautiful countryside. Plenty of space, wardens are very helpful. Spotless showers & toilets. Avoid the bottom pitches as one cow/bull kept up mooing sessions day & night in a barn. We were warned there was farm noise when booking in. Lovely bird life & lots of rabbits on the site.
A great site to explore North Yorkshire. The facility block is 1st class. The village of Hawes is a short walk away & has 3 puns which serve food. There's also a couple of small food shops & a chippie. The site has a few fully serviced pitches but most are regular hardstandings. One negative is that approx 30% of pitches weren't level & would need levelling blocks. The dog walk attached to the site is large & your dog could safely run off lead. We really enjoyed our stay at Hawes Club Site & we will visit again.
A warm and friendly welcome. The staff couldn't do enough for you. Had a great pitch near the amenities which for us was great as we are both registered disabled. Great wildlife though the rabbits did drive our Jack Russell daft. Another one to go back to as it's only a ten min walk from Hawes village and a river walk in the other direction.
Very clean and tidy site with friendly staff. Levellers are need on several pitches,the site has a good play area for children and a good dog field . A short walk into the town for shops and pubs.
Fantastic site next to the beautiful town of Hawes. Lots of great walks in the area and staff on site very helpful. Spotlessly clean,will return soon
Beautiful place to stay so well positioned and easy walk into Hawes plus lovely walks from site. Facilities brilliant. Wardens extremely friendly & welcoming. Lots of birds visit the site so lovely to see and the cute rabbits. Great dog walk for our two dogs. So peaceful and would definitely recommend and stay again if ever visiting the area. Thank you to the lovely staff who maintain the site to perfection.
A very pleasant site . Very friendly chaps on the entrance booking us in. Great size pitches and huge fenced in dog field. Spotless showers.. Short walk into the village. Lots of places to visit in the area. Will definitely return
Fabulous site brilliant pitches and lovely wardens. Only rather large criticism is we are on pitch 94 opposite the elsan and a few sewers and the smell of urine Not the farm is quite overpowering. We sat outside for a while but then retreated inside! It definitely wouldn't stop us coming again but on a different pitch. Fantastic village.
Love this site. Facilities are always clean, staff are friendly and helpful. Short walk into town and within a short drive from different places to walk. Second visit here now, and will be back next year.
