This is a fabulous little pub. Lots of character and the beer is kept beautifully. The food was tasty, although the service was a little slow. It was the first busy day of the year and caught the owners off guard so it shouldn't be like that normally. I can recommend the steak pie.

This pub has been in my mind for a long time, so much character. This is what pubs should be like. I don't live anywhere near here but must go back!

Was walking near The Green Dragon Inn and popped in for a quick pint. The decor was nice, the barman friendly and he pulled my Guinness correctly. In my short stay I thought it was a lovely country pub

We stayed at The Green Dragon for two nights at the beginning of December and found it the most welcoming, hospitable and comfortable place to eat, drink and stay. Nothing was too much for our hosts - they were incredibly accommodating and supported all of our needs. The pub itself is beautiful, friendly and wonderfully historic. The waterfall is spectacular and there are many lovely walks to be had right from the front door. Couldn't recommend any higher!

We called early on Sunday morning looking for change to enter Hadraw Force Waterfall, which is accessed through the grounds of the pub (we didn't know it was a coin op turnstile). The rather unfriendly staff member told me I shouldn't be in the pub, as it was residents only. I asked if he could help with providing some change......apparently the pub didn't have any. Not ideal for anyone wanting to buy a drink later on! I was ushered out of the pub and the door was promptly locked behind me! lol Not sure this gentleman should be in the 'hospitality' industry. We had planned to eat there after our walk and were thinking of using the campsite facilities at some stage, however I won't be bothering to visit again.
