With Bolton Abbey and the River Wharfe nearby and the footpath of the Dales Way winding its way along the river and passing through picturesque local villages and towns such as Burnsall and Grassington in one direction and Addingham and Ilkley in the other, it is easy to appreciate the true natural beauty of the area. A few miles to the west is the busy market town of Skipton also known as the Gateway to the Dales
A walker’s paradise with much to explore and lots to do for families including Hesketh Farm Park and the Yorkshire ice cream factory which are just a stones throw away. The area boasts numerous pubs, restaurants and coffee shops, plenty of shopping opportunities and many local seasonal events.
Offering a central location with plenty to do for all ages and in any weather. The campsite, close to Bolton Abbey, is the perfect base from which to explore the Yorkshire Dales National Park. A fantastic site for either an action packed family holiday or a tranquil relaxing break.
