Lovely site and friendly welcome. I forgot my gas spanner and the owner was more then happy to help. The showers could do with a little modernisation but small price to pay, when you consider the views and location. Would be nice if there was a small shop for such things as milk and bread, but 10 minute walk to the town. Keep up the good work

Called an hour away from the site. Very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The site has everything you might need. Amazing view and 15m walk to Hawes. I highly recommend The Crown and its gorgeous steak pie.

Friendly reception on arrival. Good facilities although showers are still 20p in the slot but hot water plentiful. Great location 10 minutes walk from Hawes centre but lovely rural setting.

Just returned home after a 4 night stay camping. Have been before and love it here. Friendly welcome from the newish owners and although it was bank holiday weekend , the site was not too full. So much better than other sites where they jam as many people on as possible to make as much profit. Showers are 20p and last for ages, never too busy. Basic amenities but all clean and exceptable for the price which was only £17 for 2 people per night. The site was also very quiet on an evening which we like. Great walks from the site and very , very scenic. Will return next year !

45 years I've been coming here. Met lots of other people who come regular because it has been unchanged over the years and they like it. However, now Mr grumpy has taken over. Changing something that has worked for over half a century. He does not have a clue. All I have heard since we arrived is people saying they're not coming back. I'm included in that. Good luck grumpy, I think your going to need it.
