Called here for food before a show. The kids loved the food and that's saying something when one of them can be very choosy. Staff were lovely and helpful. Thumbs up all round,  especially for the desserts 👍

My 5 stars are for Elaine, have to say she is the one member of staff that shines through every time we visit, she is always helpful and happy. Many times we have watched her serve nearly every customer in the restaurant whilst other members of staff appear to be in a complete daze.No matter how many tables Elaine is dealing with we have always felt like a priority to her. She never seems to stand still and yet remains completely composed and focused. So thank you Elaine. I hope that your managers give you the recognition you undoubtedly desrve.

average food and sloppy service.
amount put into the card machine is different than the bill provided, some excuses when asked for explanation; lack of professionalism.

What's happened to Harvester? Used to be a good value restaurant maybe not the best food but there was a lot of choice and good portion sizes.  Not anymore. Pasta seem to have disappeared altogether and the only things on menu are burgers or steaks. Portion sizes are small ( case and point gammon steak comes with onion rings - all 2 of them) and the food is either poorly cooked or generally poor quality.. gammon is fatty, mushroom filled with grease, fries soggy. And then the service, 20 mins waiting to have order taken (at 4pm Friday it was not busy) drink order was forgotten about waitresses arguing with cook staff at the pass. And another 20 mins to wait for the cheque ... more chance of catching bus on time then getting a waitress.  Unprofessional and leave a bad taste in the mouth.

Are own experience was very good, apart from the staff saying we couldn't use the promotion we were sent.
However quite a few other people were waiting to be acknowledged to be seated that at least 3 groups gave up and looked elsewhere, all whilst staff were chatting to each other waiting for food to be cooked.
