We came for an afternoon meal. Lunch menu is good value for two or three courses. Staff were friendly and served up the salad / bread bar with what we asked for. Very friendly service from Maggie for our starter and mains. Great service too from Jayde who took our dessert orders.
The staff were very welcoming and friendly and made a lot of effort. The starter was a bit disappointing as the bread wasn't toasted properly. The main was very nice as was the dessert. One of our party was gluten free and had to wait quite a bit for their food and it wasn't cooked properly but other than that we were pretty happy overall. It was extremely busy for Xmas day and the staff made a lot of effort to make everything as good as possible Parking: Lots of parking available
We went to harvester beulah Hill last night to celebrate our sons birthday we got shown to our table quickly but it was right next to the door this wouldn't have been a problem if there was heating in the restaurant but other than blow heaters spread around parts of the restaurant there were none near us and when we asked if we could have one placed near us we were told there was no plug near our table we had a 2 year old with us that was shivering. The food was very good and the waitress was lovely but unfortunately we couldn't really enjoy it as we were all so cold and had to put our coats on to keep warm.
Marie the waitress was so nice and helpful. Would go back there because of the service she gave. The boys enjoyed their puddings
When we walked in we were greeted within seconds and shown to our table as we pre-booked. We did have to wait a while for the waiter to take our order, my mother an I did think that the wait was a bit too long. After ordering the food didn't take long to come which was great. The food was really nice, big portions though, perhaps too big for me. I had to wait a bit before having desert which I shared with my son. We all enjoyed our meal and dessert and felt like it was good value when the bill came. We will definitely book again for another special occasion.
We had a fantastic lunch here today. The self service Salad Cart had good selection of fresh food. The main Combo meal was yummy & well cooked, & lastly, the Caramel Crave is well worth trying for naughty treat tho so huge I could not finish it . Our waitress, Jennell, was pleasant & dealt with all her tables beautifully & with a smile Thank you. Well done, made the whole outing a joy! Parking: Plenty of spaces
Had dinner at the restaurant about two weeks ago to celebrate my partner's birthday. We waited about half an hour and no waiter/ waitress turned up so I had to find someone. When the person came to take our order we were left waiting again until the food and drinks turned up together. To put a long story short we were disappointed with the service. Was hoping to celebrate my birthday there in two weeks but I am not convinced that the service would be better.
Same amazing welcoming staff we have come to look forward to seeing. What have you done to the menu? Unlikely to return again after this experience, empty tables around us seem to echo the experience we had today. You may save on cheaper items but lose in custom, so sad. Parking: Disabled parking bays like glass from the ice. Getting 2 disabled Ladies from the car to the entrance was treacherous and frightening for them.
I had to wait 15mins for a 4pm appointment. I wanted to have my salad before I ordered my starters & main course which I usually do but the person who served me was not happy to give me a bowl. She then went on to tell me I need to order a meal in order to have a salad. I've visited Harvesters on numerous occasions & already knew that. It might be better if the staff member had asked me if I'd been there before and aware of how the system works?
Went there for lunch, was told to order starters and mains together. Starters and mains came at the same time, which was a bit ridiculous as there was hardly any space on the table to put all the dishes. Food is very nice but not all at once. May need to review this. Upon reading another review from someone who was not happy about where they were placed at a table, I don't think putting a response as thank you for your positive feedback is very KIND.
