Pop in on the way home for a swift ice cold pint of a local ale or craft beer. Enjoy a Sunday lunch with the family. Or just stop in whilst walking the dog.Whatever the occasion, you’ll find a warm welcome, a well-stocked bar, delicious classic pub dishes, pizzas and fabulous Sunday roasts.Gluten free & vegan options available. In light of the current situation, we have adapted our pub to ensure your safety. We’re local and have been meaning to come for lunch for a while. Today we did and we’re SO glad we did!! Super friendly guy on the phone to book with, lovely refurb inside, great mix of people locals, footy fans and families and very good food. We both had the roast and the toddler had a roast too! Great value. We’ll definitely be back!!
Lovely pub with an outdoor terrace and good vegetarian food. Everything was amazing except the pitta bread which could be better. The vegan roast is highly recommended.
Absolutely disappointed. No veg on a Mothering Sunday. Offering a half arsed chicken and mash and a burnt burger with one slice of lettuce. Will I come back, probably not. Will I inform others of the shoddy service, definitely yes!!!!! O and to top it off, ordered a brownie for dessert and was offered ice cream instead because.......they are also out of brownies. Was also offered free prosecco for Mothers day. An hour and a half later and still nothing. They properly ran out of that too.
OMG best chicken burger I’ve had. Thank you Jack for your recommendation, I forgot how Dm hood they were and those funny shaped chips are still banging. Nice also to see hofmeister on draught. Beautiful helles. Thanks again and pleas let the chef know :
The second we walked in we got a warm welcome, burger was 10/10. Very clean toilets .Definitely would bring Mrs B here
Actually this is one of the pubs that have always wanted to go to in London I'm glad I came to it on this day it was not too busy at all all and a food was on point I thought although my friend thought his tofu in the salad tasted too much like meat and was dry, I personally for that it was crispy because they tried to imitate the crispy duck, We gave our personal suggestions to to the staff who will pass it on to the chef and see what happens in the future. Happy to come again.
First time since was Gipsy Tavern. Much improved the staff are very friendly the beer is good and the burger was very nice. Nice to see an old beer back. The Hofmeister is much better than it use to be
It might have been the wrong night for them but the only thing that was good was the beer.. our burgers were dry an unflavoured, they felt like they have been reheated in the microwave and my kids meal no better. It all came almost too quickly to be freshly cooked... Sorry but I won't be back
Stopped in this pub for a quick rum and found myself staying for a great quiz night with very friendly peopl, plus a young waiter guy with curly hair made us feel so welcoming. Very clean toilets and lovely outdoor space plus pet friendly.
I visited my local pub recently and had a lovely time. The service, especially Annie on the bar was absolutely superb, she could not have made my experience any better. An absolute icon of woman, so impressed with the service from Annie, I believe she deserves a raise x
