So much better since the new refurbishment lovely decor. Could do with a few more cocktails on the menu. Young staff were lovely. Very good to see young people from the area behind the bar. The owner/manager was very pleasant
Lovely staff, bright new place, footy on TVs. Looking forward to when real beers are on. Noisy acoustics with people shouting on Saturday night, hand drier in gents faulty. Busy and a welcome oasis in a slightly grim area.
We went yesterday a Saturday afternoon at about 6pm but had to leave after one drink as the music was so loud you couldn’t have a conversation with anyone. It just seemed to be a social meet up for the ‘djs’ friends. A few very intoxicated people, one falling off a chair and unable to get back up, no one seemed to bat an eyelid at this?! A shame as the pub has been done up very nicely, maybe we were just unlucky with our experience on this day.
Fantastic new addition to South Norwood's High Street with this renovated classic pub. Lovely staff, great selection of drinks, live music, and live sport. What's not to love!
