We decided to pit stop here while decorating shopping and I’m so glad we did. Service to start off was superb and to Olivia who went above and beyond to make me a mocha!! She was so attentive and helpful and put a huge smile on our faces. Well done!! Food was beyond expectations and so tasty!! Will be back!! Parking: Lots
Very pleasant experience…. Our waitress Karen was kind and knowledgeable about the menu. You could see she was working hard to keep her tables happy, she was rushed off her feet and seem to be doing the work of at least 3 people. The food was good and reasonably priced. The only downside was that we waited quite a while to be seated and it also took some time for the children’s deserts to be ordered. But it was busy, so understandable.
Stopped here midday for a meal for five adults. We were seated quickly and staff were very attentive and pleasant. The salad bar was well stocked and clean and easy to use. We were attended to quickly for starters and main courses and the food arrived and it was well presented and tasty. One of our party had slightly cold veg, however they didn't want to raise the issue. Overall the restaurant is well placed close to the motorway and although near a roundabout there is no traffic noise. The restaurant was clean and tidy and the toilets were well maintained and the first time I have seen individual toilets for men and women. There is facilities for warming milk and food for young children, a microwave for free use. The staff were very attentive and quick to serve and clean up after our party. I would recommend here for a meal, it was very pleasant and good value for money.
Absolutely appalling service, ordered a main meal cheese pasta and spinach waited over 40 minutes for food and then when the food did come out the bowl had 5 pieces of pasta in it… complained to a manager and got told “ that is the portion size we are provided”. 5 pieces of pasta for £14.49? Appalling!Food: 1/5
Visited this establishment on Tuesday lunchtime. It wasn't busy in the there but I have to say the service by all the waiting staff was sluggish and poor. We waited ages for our hot drinks and bowls for salad cart. The salad bar was practically empty and unappealing. Our food was left on the side for ages before being picked up and brought to the table so you can appreciate the food was cold and tough as old boots. We had order desserts but after waiting ages a before being told sorry but the person who took the order had gone home and we needed to order again we gave up and asked for the bill. We are not ones to complain but this was just appalling and we will never visit this Harvester again. Come to think about it, now they have hiked up the prices we are unlikely to use any Harvester again which is a shame as it use to be one of our favourite places to eat out.
Arrived for our 6pm booking which we had received 2 confirmation emails, 1 sent about 30 mins before our slot only to find the door locked and a note saying 'We are closed this evening'! No explanation or apology. No one had bothered to contact us to save us a wasted journey. I understand emergencies arise but at least let people know! Won't be returning as clearly this is an indication of the customer service we are likely to experience. Had a lovely meal in the neighbouring Toby instead!
Firstly like to point out that the staff seemed lovely, venue/ facilities nice. Food was over priced for what you get. Starters lovely. Mains I had the BBQ rack of ribs, I've tasted better frozen supermarket ribs, Daughter skewered chicken not much chicken for price paid. Onion rings soggy. Dessert was ok. Bill surprised me at the end. Overall disappointing overpriced food. 3 starter platter, 2 mains with one side, one dessert and unlimited pepsi max X2. Bill £75. Wouldn't have minded if the food would have been to a standard better than supermarket frozen food chucked in a air fryer
I’m not sure what happened today. I always have such good experiences here but today unfortunately the food wasn’t up to its usual standard. Firstly there were no jacket potatoes. Secondly, the kids pizza came out practically raw which I sent back and it was removed from the bill as my little one wouldn’t eat anything else other than some pasta from the salad bar. Thirdly, my burger was black and crispy. I didn’t send it back although I did have the option to return it. It tasted ok with extra sauce. The chips were a bit rough but edible. The lettuce on the salad bar was swimming in dirty water. The service was good. Dessert was fab!
Food and service was great. Only slight blip was that our table was not ready on arrival and the server was sat on our seating playing on phone. Manager did ask as to why table was not ready despite the server clearly not doing anything. This did not affect our overall experience however and we will definitely visit again.Food: 5/5
Food was good. Salad bar a let down as most stuff was empty and not a great selection. Since I came last its gone up in price which is a shame as I feel its to expensive for a family to eat out unless for a special occasion. The service was to rushed within 15 minutes of our order being taken the main meals were at the table meaning we did not get the chance to use to salad bar well we had put stuff in the bowls buy not a chance to eat it. Plus the building was really cold only little plug in heaters were used which were off so we had to turn them on
