Nice location in the city. Good prices, friendly staff, clean rooms and lovely breakfast. Thoroughly recommend this pub if visiting for the day or staying the night.
Great beer. Lovely garden and child free policy make for a great pub.
Felt safe one way in one way out. Sandwich box meal good idea no waiting quick service.
The Lower Red Lion is a special place. It has two bars and a real fires and real beer. Staff are friendly and helpful, but it does have the atmosphere of hospitality which is not corporate. I just have to try and visit more often, as it is very nice.
