Visited here 21/7/25 with my two boys, Monday evening it was quiet, but although there were only 10 people in there at the time there was just a buzz about the place, I ordered drinks first, the staff were informative, got informative drinks and sat down. They had 3 tv screen showing darts volume low, I ordered food at the bar, but you can also order by the app if you do wish.my boys played pool while waiting for the food, when the food arrived it was hot and tasted delicious we all agreed to pay it another visit very soon. Oh if your interested,I ordered two sirloin steaks peppercorn sauce and a side of onion rings for me and my eldest son. And 6 chicken nuggets sweetcorn with mash for my 8 year old , which came to a grand total of £ 32.50 roughly, roughly it was definitely £32 something, by far the cheapest food I have purchased in a long time. And yes I will definitely be going back
Was greeted by Steve, who was extremely friendly and helpful. Told us about the vegetarian menu. He then came back to make sure everything was ok. Food came out piping hot. Thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. Would definitely recommend this pub to family and friends. Thanks to all the staff and especially Steve
Just had a lovely afternoon here. Staff are amazing & sooooo helpful.nHad our little dog with us & was given a dog menu & a bowl of water for Bonnie.nBonnie had a plain buger &ate the lot! We had fish & chips and also the millionair burger. Food was excellent, piping hot & plenty of it.nBig thanks to Gwenda, Lisa & Tom Cruise behind the bar, also inown as Steve the manager!nGreat place, great food & great staff.
Myself and my partner had lunch here 06/03/26. The staff Brenda and Jamie were very welcoming and helpful. The food was lovely and the pub itself had a relaxing atmosphere.
Came in for food with elderly mum. She had fish and chips, which she enjoyed. For her, too many chips. Better to have too many than too few.nnI had the sirloin. A nice bit of steak and cooked to perfection. I asked if I could have salad instead of chips. No problem.nnI'd like to give a shout to Gwen who looked after us
