Story

Beefeater opened their doors back in 1974, and were driven by a passion for glorious steak. Mouth-watering cuts at mouth-watering prices was their motto. Reassuringly nothing's changed, these things still drive them today and they always will.
Beefeater believe in two things, a warm friendly welcome and serving incredible steak that you can kick back, relax and enjoy. Had a cooked breakfast, made to order, which was lovely - lots of choice and ways to have your eggs. Fried slice would have made it perfect. The continental breakfast buffet looked fine. Juice was nice. Coffee was OK. The staff were great, even though they looked rushed off their feet. Will definitely come back.

Friendly service. Looked clean and kept up well. Sharing platter was very nice. Wife really liked the ribs and chicken she ordered. Both well cooked. Nice chunky chips. Buttermilk chicken burger was nice. Good beer.

The food is amazing as is the service. We had my mother in laws 60th here and it was a really good night. Great atmosphere and a good seperate area for parties. The attached hotel was really handy for family travelling up for the party. Pretty good value for money as well. There's a petrol station across the road with an ATM if you need to get any cash out. Definitely a good place for a family party

Came here for a birthday meal today (bank holiday Monday) and was very disappointed. Ordered the pate as a starter and it was disgusting inedible watery mush. They did offer to swap this for something else so I chose crispy flat cap mushrooms. They were overcooked and tasted of burnt breadcrumbs and nothing else. Not going to risk a main course so going elsewhere.

Very Helpful and accomodating staff. Went with a non-verbal autistic girl and they offered her the picture menu that the chef uses in the back. Fantastic service.
