Fantastic pub! Really nice feel to the place, delicious food and very welcoming! We were awkward and asked for a couple of adjustments to some standard menu items and they were very accommodating and adjusted some meals as requested without any hesitation! Food was of high quality and cooked really nicely! Will definitely return!
We came here with our baby daughter and the bar man couldn’t have been more accommodating. Amazing pies, great ales and a lovely friendly atmosphere.
Great village pub, really friendly staff, type of place for a nice pint after a walk in nearby woods. Food supposed to be great. Go there and support a local pub, especially during times like these.

Enjoyed a delicious meal. My husband said it was the best chicken and ham pie he had eaten. Pastry top and bottom plenty of tasty filling. Good cider and craft larger. Reasonably priced. Very pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff.
Stopped in for a couple of drinks one evening. Beer selection is poor, but service was friendly and the pub is nice inside. Didn't eat food. I'm sure it's a good place for passing the time but without better drinks selection I won't return, sorry
Dropped in last evening for dinner - very reasonably priced and tasty home cooked meals from the bar menu - fresh local ingredients, ready in 20 minutes. Great value and a Freehouse as well. Our Community pub, busy doing good pub fare! Thanks Andy and Tim!
