A really traditional pub. Managing Covid19 well. One of the few showing football which is why we went. Traditional pub grub for £10 typical for Cambridge and a good choice of beers. Tucked away in an unfashionable area, don't let that put you off if you want a traditional pub.
We only came to use facilities and we ended up having lunch and drinks. Brilliant pub, delicious food and honest portions. Service couldn’t be more helpful. Strongly recommend.
I had a steak pie with side of mash and peas. Food was very heavy pie was fine tasting; mash tasted like margarine or oil, and I only ate half. Still I felt sluggish and gross the rest of the day. Not sure about the rest of the menu, but I won’t likely return.
Lovely ambience and vibe. Beautiful flowers out the front. The Manager, Merita, was friendly professional and very helpful in suggesting I try an Aspell with blackcurrant. My new favourite Cider mix. Thanks Merita you have a winner's smile!
Good food, very nice staff, honest portions. Highly recommended!
Just love this place. Rugby themed. Attended quite a lot of open Mics here on Mondays. Always a good vibe. Friendly staff and good crowd. Cozy as well
