Following a multi-million pound refurbishment, the hotel has been completely updated with 139 stylish bedrooms, a relaxing dining experience at the Harben Bar & Kitchen and a welcoming reception and lounge area, alongside our meeting and event spaces.

Story

Welcome to the Harben House

Situated only minutes away from the M1 at junction 14. Harben House offers guests a fantastic base when working or visiting Milton Keynes and its surrounding areas. The hotel has 139 contemporary bedrooms all with extra comfy bed with soft and relaxing linen, large TV with multi channels and great bathroom toiletries. Harben House also offers its guest free car parking, wifi and unlimited tea and coffee during your stay.

On arrival you will be met by our attentive team who will look after your every requirement.

When it comes to food we definitely have that covered with a team of excellent chefs an extensive wine list and menus using the best of the local ingredients.

Small rooms but comfy.nThe only real annoyance was the lack of soft close on all the fire doors which slammed shut loudly whenever anyone went through them.nGood value for the price
I liked it, but I had no significant issues in my room. Some of my colleagues had to take cold showers on our first morning. The staff were generally friendly and helpful. The only real concern for me was their highly restrictive approach to meal times in comparison to other hotels in the same bracket.
One positive is the staff are amazing but they can't work miracles and that's what is needed . Couldn't get into my room till 7.30pm . Lift working for about 10 minutes each day and it's 70 steps from ground floor to 3rd floor . Food not good except for breakfast which was plentiful . Toilet actually in corner of room - no door , no divide of any sort . Friends room infested with ants . Couldn't get shower to turn on but staff came to help plus a very sullen maintenance man . Filled basin with water , went to get towel and basin emptied itself . ONE MORE VERY DISTURBING INCIDENT WHICH I CAN'T PUT HERE But suffice to say Ben the manager cleaned my toilet himself !!
Lovely kerbside appeal. We had a great overnight stay, the room was modern and clean and all the staff we met were very friendly receptionist Monika is a credit to the company...nothing was too much trouble. The room/bathroom are partially open plan Ikea springs to mind we didn't mind this and the shower was amazing. I really don't understand some of the negative reviews????
We had a friend in an upstairs room and he said it was quite nice, however our room had an extensive black mould infestation with a very strong smell the air freshener hidden behind the closet did nothing. Sheets were dirty, with blood and sweat stains on the pillowcases which looked quite fresh! Communal areas were lovely, great breakfast facilities. Shame about the rooms, which looked like they had jumped straight out of the 70's.
