Our stay was wonderful overall! The hotel was exceptionally clean and had so much charm and character. From the moment we arrived, every member of the front desk staff was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely eager to help. They consistently went above and beyond to accommodate requests and quickly resolve any issues that came up.nnOne thing to be aware of is that the rooms do not have air conditioning. The listing on Booking.com was a bit misleading in that regard, so it was an unexpected surprise. That said, the hotel did everything they could to keep guests comfortable by providing a fan and other thoughtful amenities, which we really appreciated.nnA special thank you to Gabriel at the front desk. He was incredibly kind, attentive, and proactive in making sure any concerns we had were addressed. His exceptional customer service truly made a difference in our stay and left a lasting positive impression.nnWe would gladly stay here again, the hotel is in a great location to walk around town as well.
Excellent value. Stayed one night with our dog. Had a good evening meal here accommodated us at last minute for a table of 7 - thank you! and really excellent breakfast. Our Superior room 111 was very comfy and clean with good facilities. NB. Might need a new mattress - found it was tilting me too much towards the window. Staff all incredibly friendly and helpful. Can't recommend this hotel enough.
This was the 3rd stay over the years. We had a lovely stay, however breakfast was unfortunately not the best.nPrevious times we have ordered a breakfast and it has been absolutely first class but our stay last weekend was disappointingly a buffet style. No choice of eggs just scrambled and the bacon was awful all four of us commented on the tasteless bacon.nThere was no sauce sachets on the table and not enough staff on and never anyone about who was not busy to ask, so just had to go looking on a couple of empty tables. Also we had a lovely amount of toast but barely any butter.nIt was all very chaotic, you were very busy and perhaps the reason you had buffet breakfast or is this just a thing now?nHowever for the price it was still a lovely stay and apart from the bacon and lack of staff to ask for items missing we would still come back, and we did have the most gorgeous pizzas at lunch time, and a lovely meal first class in the restaurant for dinner.
Very good value and very friendly staff makes for a very pleasant stay. Very cosy bar and breakfast was delicious. So nice to have a free parking space. It would be nice to have two glasses on the tea tray Maybe that was an oversight!. On the plus side enjoyed the biscuits!
Great hotel, staff very helpful. We stayed for one night on our way to Bletchley Park, the evening meal was well cooked and plentiful, the morning breakfast was cooked to perfection and kept us going throughout the day with no need for lunch even though we were walking around Bletchley park for 5 hours. The room whilst a little dated was clean and well presented. We will have no hesitation in coming back if we are ever in the area again.
