I have just stayed for 4 nights and found the lodge very dated and in some areas dirty, the dishwasher was very dirty and the pods they leave you to use are a waste of time so I decided to wash all the pots by hand but again had to go out and buy a decent washing up liquid as the one in the apartment didn’t even create ant suds. I went to set the table the first night to find the cutlery was dirty and needed to be washed before we could eat. I did complain but they did not go to the apartment to clean anything so this will be the last time I stay here.
Fantastic place in a great in location with good facilities. I have stayed here previously and had been able to use the leisure facilities in the hotel free of charge. Unfortunately now there is a charge of £10 per person per day, which is a bit of step in the wrong directionRooms: 4/5
Would recommend Clean to a high standard you would eat food off any surface Recommend having a pocket torch or phone torch if returning in the dark as a couple of dark areas just for footing not because if personal safety Apartment did have a rechargable torch which was a nice thoughtful touch 10* I would give Rooms: We had a room kitchen sofa open plan Double room good standard as well as bathroom Nearby activities: 5 mins walk to the lake with a short cut thru the grounds to get to the lakes for Food and drink. Pet friendly but can it leave pets in accomodation unsuoervised Safety: But dark in couple place but caused no concern Walkability: 5min walk for food drinks and walks
Self catering accommodation in comfortable accommodation of various size and standard. Walkable to town and ferries. Good bus service to surrounding towns and Lakes. Plenty of cafes, bistros and restaurants found locally. Dog friendly venue. Nearby activities: Lakeside walk, water sport hire, ferry for car, bikes, foot passengers and also pure scenic rides.
Affordable, great family friendly rooms with a view and a close walk to all the local environment has to offer.Rooms: 5/5
Brilliant family/dog friendly resort with quick access into town and very friendly warm small group of staff who clearly enjoy there job, nothing is too much for them and they will quickly address any issues you have. They have fresh bread items and also alcohol at reasonable prices in there reception. Kids playground,games room and laundry. The rooms are very spacious with full self catering white goods, balconies or outside seating area, private parking for each apartment, walk in modern showers and high attention to detail of all living areas.
Still a great place to stay self catering. Apartments in need of a refurb but clean and fully furnished. No free access to spa in the lakeside hotel next door. It's £27 for a day pass or you can drive to trout beck and use the small pool and jacuzzi at Choices Health club 10 mins away by car. Just need to show haipag apartment key for free use. Towels are £2.50 if you don't have your own.
We've been here many times before and will return again. We have not stayed in the same apartment twice but although they are all very comfortable, this one is the best yet. Friendly staff, well equipped accommodation, convenient for all the local amenities, but not in the busy bustle of the town. An ideal base for the south lake district.
Overall nice stay, little bit costly as compared to location/ service. Nicely designed apartment. Basement bed room with a roadside view is amazing. And kids also like a bed room in a loft area. Perfect with every aspect. My kids enjoying a lot at the location, customer area, connected small garden with a small water stream, apple trees and flowers, and playing with a Hapimag special member BOB at the resort. Definitely consider next time if any economical option available in future. Suggested that control over some bugs and spider seen in the Appartment. Secondly about the water stream: you can design this in a better way In between apartment areas and make it prominent with some cold water fishes. Thanks the managment team of Hapimag. Rooms: Neat and clean and spacious rooms. Nice views from windows. Outdoor access also available from bed room. Safety: 3 exits available from apartment. Fire alarm and extinguisher available.
Absolutely amazing. Loved our time here. Shame that check in is 4pmRooms: 5/5
