I called the practice to get an appointment or call back as I already know I have a chest infection.  Waited for 1hr 59 minutes then call was cut off.  You then have to start again...'you're call is in a queue above thirty etc'.  How many people do they have answering the calls?  Same recorded messages with excuses about why calls not being answered.  Service is far from acceptable.  The reviews on here appear to confirm this.

I recently visited the clinic for an immigration TB test and had a wonderful experience. Hernam, in particular, was incredibly helpful. She went out of her way to check for cancellations and managed to schedule me an earlier appointment. Her effort and patience were truly appreciated.  The entire staff, including the doctor, nurses, and x-ray technician, worked efficiently, making the process smooth and stress-free. Additionally, the clinic offers a mail service for the TB test certificate, which is very convenient and saves time on commuting.  Moreover, the cost of the TB test at this clinic is lower compared to other clinics recognized by the UK government. I highly recommend this clinic for anyone needing to obtain a TB test.

Consistently waiting over an hour for someone to answer the phone just to get a prescription. I have not had my meds for a week now due to not being able to get though. I’m a student home for summer currently so cannot just visit to sort it. Never been given any access info to order through their automated service or the NHS app either. Absolutely awful service.

I called 08:07 the voice recording advise to opt for a call back as my place in the queue would be kept. After two hours Linda from reception called me to let me know there is nothing available for today. Why do I pay my taxes? Why do I miss work for this nonsense? The prime minister wants sick people to work but there is no health assistance for workers that miss a day at work to be seen by a doctor but at 08:07 there is no more appointment available??? When the calls are only permitted from 8:00. How many people did you spoke with from 08:00 to 08:07, Linda? What about the ''very busy'' doctors how many people did they spoke with? You lot and your Consertvative Government just wait for the next general election...

Literally impossible to get an appointment with the GP, not everyone wakes up at 8am even if you do they have already gone!  So you tell us to call at 8am but then we get stuck in a queue then told all appointments are gone.  How are you meant to get an actual appointment, I've tried for weeks but keep being told no no no.  Also last time I was there the nurse who was doing a healthy check was just rude, kept sighing at me and the whole room stank of B.O.  Just better to find a different surgery at this rate.  Joke of a GP  Avoid

My wife and I both got same day appointments. She saw a GP and I saw a pharmacist. Both appointments were useful. This place has improved recently. Unfortunately they do not provide appropriate services for people with ME in line with NICE guidance.

My wife trying to get appointment since last week ,no luck still, after hour and half waiting on line phone cut off.if your not able to provide enough service you shouldn't take/join more patients.Its unbelievable in one week we can't get appointment with GP . What's the point to join GP then.We really disappointed.

I feel like ALL OF THE STAFF here are lacking of empathy, patient care and bedside manner. It's hard to get an appointment and when you do get through the call you'd get turned down or you get an appointment but they would just disregard your clinical complaints without proper assessment. I understand that NHS is trying to conserve resources but isn't PREVENTION ALWAYS BETTER THAN CURE. Because the system is implying ask for help when your fighting for your life.

This is the worst place to do your medical screening especially for immigration purposes. Their X-ray will portray a negative result for you and the Doctors are so unprofessional. My advice don’t use this place if you don’t want a negative result.  Asides that £90 was stolen from my account after giving them my card details for payment. Not a good experience at all.  I just wish they can close down this place. Let me also add the receptionist are so rude, I called to ask them to send my medical report several times but they kept posting for days.  My advice to the general public is do not use this place.

Handsworth Wood Medical Centre ,provides a fantastic service with professional outstanding staff. Your Pharmacy is fabulous also, nothing is too much trouble.  Kind regards and Many Thanks
