This is the place to go with children touch friendly, dress up clothes, do your own punch and Judy show have a go on the rocking horse then on on upstairs to see the mummy and see what it was like for your grandparents if you love history you will love this place

Worth a visit to see some social history about Hull. Suitable for all ages.

Really good museum . The exhibits were presented well with lots of information boards. There is a particularly good area about people growing up in Hull in post 2nd world war times. There is a lift . It's free but only open 2nd and 4th Saturday of month for afternoon only . Very busy with all ages . Children loved the downstairs hands on gallery .
