A great hotel with brilliant front of house staff Sara, offering a efficient and friendly welcome to the hotel. Great advice on nearby options to park, depending on your needs. Breakfast was very well presented and offers a wide range of hot and cold options. The fruit juice was disappointing though. The dinner menu is limited and I would recommend a short walk to the harbour side area for your evening meal. The room servicing during the day was a bit hit and miss! One day the old towels were removed but not replaced, the next day they left behind a random selection of towels lots of face cloths and the third day double the towels you could use! This probably needs a look at by the management team - consistent service is my expectation for hotel stays. That all said the front of house were brilliant and sorted the towels straight away. Convenient for the city too.
A great hotel in a decent location. The room was fresh and clean and the air con was very very good! Little details like plenty of plug sockets beside the bed, a hair drier and an iron made it great. The breakfast was good although a little busy at peak times - the make your own waffles is a nice touch. The staff were friendly and helpful especially moving us to a lower floor to avoid using the lift. Hard to find fault with any aspect of the stay!
Had a lovely stay for a weekend city break. Staff were so friendly and helpful, Angel was very efficient checking us in, Dipa was very friendly and welcoming, Luke was very helpful at the Breakfast bar. Rooms were lovely and the beds very comfortable. Would definitely stay again!Rooms: 5/5
We booked two two. Rooms at £170 a night. Firstly their parking is next door and there are no proper details how to approach the hotel premise from the parking. We saw a staff who checked us in from the parking lot and asked her. Instead of guiding us she yelled at one of our friend very badly! That was just the start. One of the room was very very small. In side of the bad has just just one feet from the wall. The carpet was badly stained. The view from the window was bathroom pipe and Terrence with ac units. The Tv angle was very odd to watch. That have very basic or free channels. The bed sheets were not changed by room service in-spite there were blood stains on the sheet. We had to request the staff to get it changed. We asked for alternate room which they said they can’t do. We were there for short time and did not want keep searching and spoil our holidays. So we stayed but were really not pleased. There was no fridge in the room. The water was not gathering in the shower area while taking bath. The floor was so slippery that the non skid slipper were slipping. One of the room the shower had no force for water. The ground staff after that was helpful in guiding us to the restaurant and all. The breakfast was fine. But the overall experience was not at all pleasant or value for money.
Honestly pretty disappointing. The staff were lovely, the rooms serviceable and clean, but the sound proofing was absolutely none existent. You can hear other guests coming back at 2/3 in the morning as though they had just walked into your room. You can hear when the room above you decides to have a shower. Through the windows, you can hear the HVAC system or the road depending on which side of the building you’re on. For the same price I could have stayed at the premier inn and had a much better sleep.
Booked a stay for three adults which was a very small room with a double bed and a pull out sleeper couch squashed next to it. Since staying in a shoe box is not for me, I ended up booking and paying for a second room which hadn't really be the plan. With two rooms, the stay was very nice, the location is perfect in the centre of Bristol, the breakfast great, parking available, and staff very friendly
Staff were really friendly, very clean everywhere and modern. Breakfast in morning was lovely and not busy. Very good value for money and right in centre of Bristol so can walk everywhere. Definitely recommend!Rooms: 5/5
No frills hotel but room was clean and neat. The aircon could not be turned off, so I took the card out of the slot and reported it in the morning. Breakfast was great and glad it was included cos when working it’s a really needed beginning to my morning.Rooms: 5/5
Very convenient location next to Cabot Circus - staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Absolutely love the lobby - really spacious and glitzy! The rooms are ok, the beds could be better; the uneven springs make them quite uncomfortable. Breakfast is great!Rooms: 4/5
We chose this hotel for it's location and inclusive breakfast option. Check-in was quick and the reception staff were polite and helpful. The rooms were large, well equipped and clean. Car parking is available at the nearby NCP, although this has not received favourable reviews by others. We used on street overnight parking in Brunswick Square, which is to the right of the hotel. I would recommend this hotel for those looking for an overnight stay or as a base for a few days exploring Bristol. Rooms: The rooms are smartly decorated in grey and burgundy with wooden panelling. All essential items are provided, such as tea & coffee making facilities, safety deposit box, writing desk with lamp, 13A sockets and comfortable chair, iron with ironing board, hairdryer, coat hangers, and storage. Walkability: The hotel is located opposite Cabot Circus in the city centre, so is within easy walking distance of a wide selection of retail and food outlets. Public transport is available right outside the hotel. Food & drinks: The bar prices are pricey as one would expect in a hotel, but the lounge area is comfortable and spacious. The breakfast offers cereal, pastries, hot breakfast options, porridge, waffle maker, toast including GF, jams, and yogurts including vegan options. A variety of hot drinks are freely available from the two machines. Cold juices are provided, including apple and orange.
