We had to use this hotel last week 21/01/2024 due to flight delays. Rang about 23.00 and they were so helpful. We had a family room which was reasonably priced. The room was nice though had dust in places where could be reached easily and the bathroom sink blocked, but beds were big and comfortable.nThey have a Miller and Carter in the hotel. The hotel is amazing inside and just worth going in to see the rooms so nicely decorated. Staff friendly and welcoming. This is situated on College Green in Bristol and central to shops and restaurants. Would definitely recommend and stay again..
We had our wedding last May at the Bristol Marriott Royal Hotel and it was absolutely faultless. We booked in 2019 and then had to postpone due to Covid. The team were extremely understanding and helpful which was very much appreciated during a stressful time.nnOur main point of contact was Mya, who was always very helpful and professional. She was also very prompt in answering my many questions and I always felt that our big day was safe in her hands.nnPrior to our big day, the team put on the most incredible tasting session. They put in so much thought and effort and it got us really excited for the day itself.nnI was so impressed by the team at the venue. Everyone was very friendly, accommodating and professional and I felt like they all really wanted us to have a great day.nnThe day itself was fantastic. We had so many of our guests tell us how impressed they were by the quality of the food, the level of service and how stunning the venue was. Very good service, location and the rooms are very spacious and with all the details very careful.nThe receptionist spoke Spanish and as soon as she knew that we were Spanish, she gave us all the information in Spanish, which made everything much easier for my parents who don't speak English.
The room was quite big,we stayed in the junior suite.nComplimentary Water wasn't replaced daily ,we had to ask for it. Breakfast was just okay, not many options, and there was no coffee machine, which was quite disappointing for a 4-star hotel.nThe hotel had only one restaurant that's Millers and Carter. This is also where the breakfast buffet was served.nMy overall experience was mid for a 4-star hotel .nThe location was great as it's close to the city centre and other places of interest.
Me and my family loved our stay here, took my boy for the first time and he was in shock at the lobby, he absolutely loved it! He was gifted a little teddy bear and a box of chocolates when we arrived and the wife was given a little glass of bubbles! The staff were super polite and friendly, professional and extremely welcoming. Felt like royalty!nnThe room was clean and just to our needs, small fridge with the couple cans of water, tea, coffee biscuits etc.. The air conditioning works which I always enjoy all year round.nnThis isn’t me and my wife’s first stay and certainly not our last. Location and parking within the hotel is great for shopping and close to the aquarium which we enjoyed! We were given complimentary parking which for us just added that little of making us feel welcome and it was greatly appreciated!!nnThanks and see you again soon!
