Great place, near Yeovil. Comfortable rooms, friendly staff and excellent food. Sunday carvery is not to be missed. Their chef is amazing. Give the place a try.

This place has the potential to be lovely, but feels and looks neglected. Our room, rooms where hit and miss while the bathroom and bedroom areas where fine the lounge needed to be rethought as well as replacing the very uncomfortable bed settee???  And the one wicker chair plus what was going on with the totally empty, unfurnished conservatory?? Except for the woodlice who seemed to like it.
As for the food breakfast was great,  evening bad experience . Staff very welcoming and friendly.

staff are friendly the rooms are clean and tidy with tv and tea making things breakfast is very good food is good and reasonably priced i enjoyed my stay will go back again

Ok if you want to eat but don't bother staying !!!  New rooms but complete lack of maintenance. Had to change rooms cos of leaking bath. Flòor rotten and uneven. Moved to a room with no grout in the tiles and a hot tap that wasn't fixed. Owners put tape over the floor and let the room to someone else.
