Good and bad, which is a shame because could have easy been a 4 or 5 star rating. The member of staff I met on arrival was fantastic, enthusiastic, helpful and made me feel at home however, the other staff member was far from helpful when I asked where I could park and was more keen to make sure there was space for a skip arriving after I'd left the next day than accomadate me as a guest. The room was good, clean with a good bathroom with LOTS of pressure however, the system for the kitchens extractor was in the loft space above my room which meant I had the misfortune of that constantly going until 10-10.30 in the evening. Some good points, some not so good. 3 stars.

Back again and food is just amazing.. it's only an extra £2 for extra courses and you HAVE to have a dessert.. they are simply wonderful.. the cod I had today after discussing with the chef yesterday was michelin standard.. the parfait for dessert was the same... if your in Yeovil EAT HERE !! Rooms are a bit small and ancient but shower is amazing... as is the food.. see picture. Beth and China who greeted us at reception and served our meals are two of the most pleasant front of house I've experienced

Nice little restaurant in the centre of Yeovil. They looked after our large group really well. The food was good, nicely presented and the service was great. Each course arrived quickly and they managed to get all 17 of us through three courses in about an hour and a half. All in all it was a great meal that seemed to be enjoyed by everyone.

I've only ever visited the Green Room for lunch. All I can say is the food is excellent and the value unmatched in Yeovil. I'm really surprised they can make any money for the quality of food at the price they offer, it's really good and if you're in Yeovil wanting some great tasting food then this place is very dependable, definitely recommend.

Stephen was terrific. The Pub is charming and quite full at lunchtime during the week. They have 17 rooms with bathrooms, and it's an adventure to wind your way through the "rabbit Warren" to get to your room. If it's Winter or if you're cold, be sure to turn your radiator on! (we forgot!)
