Our high 3 star rated property combines period character with modern facilities. All bedrooms have: flat screen colour TVs with freeview: dvd players; radio clock alarms; hairdryers; tea/coffee making facilities; power showers and free wi-fi.
Breakfast is served in our delightful tearooms/conservatory where images from Montacute TV Radio Toy Museum are guaranteed to evoke memories of your favourite TV programmes. Breakfast comprises fruit juice, fresh fruit, prunes, yoghurts, cereals, cooked items including Traditional English and toast with local preserves. In summer we serve lunches & cream teas.
Montacute featured in filming Jane Austen’s ‘Sense and Sensibility'.
It has a National Trust property, parkland, woods, a folly with amazing views & is adjacent to a country park. Here people are likely to live the longest in Britain!
We are suited to the business traveller and tourist and ideally positioned for Ramblers and those interested in National Trust properties and gardens.
