The guy at the parts desk was very rude and unhelpful… After talking just fine with the boys in front of me I asked if they had something in stock.. once he heard my American accent his whole attitude changed pretty dramatically and started arguing with me about the details of the part I was looking for an automotive light bulb told me the Volvo I needed the bulb for “must be imported” and scoffed at me when I told him the exact manufacturer part number for cross referencing purposes. So I promptly left never to return. I’ve spent my entire adult life as a professional mechanic, I know what I am talking about.

Had a roof rack and box fitted here, apart from the misunderstand on price, bought the day before booked in next day for fitting. Turned up next day to find out same box was £51 discounted. So after speaking with multiple members of staff they agreed to refund the difference. Took around 40 mins to fit. All round good work.

I can't say I have had any good reason to go to Halfords, but when I went to this branch, I was very pleasantly surprised for the service received from Cat. She showed very good service despite the store seeming quite busy, and seemed genuinely interested in helping me make sure I was buying exactly what I needed for the job I needed. I would make a special effort to visit this store as, so a special thanks to Cat for your warm service and personality.

Paid £20 for two bikes to be built prior to collection. Within an hour of collection two pedals fell off one of the bikes. Other than that appear to be pretty good. Low rating due to pedals not fitted correctly.

At the till,I was  offered Halfords to fit my new wiper blades which was not done and i took them away in the packaging but was still charged £6 extra on my receiptnAlso offered a free gift at the till ,on checking my recipt at home  I was also charged £4 for the free gift ??nI will be back tomorrow to get a refund for both.nwhat an inconvenience
